  1. Am I the only one who thinks anything less than 400mi of range is legacy at this point?

That is simply incorrect as anyone who's experienced both knows, as well as data to back it up.
  2. 100K miles and still running like new

Is it breaking in the same area? I wonder if there is frame flexing around the windshield or something.
  3. 100K miles and still running like new

What's up with that? Are you constantly smashing into things?
  4. Am I the only one who thinks anything less than 400mi of range is legacy at this point?

I quoted 2 posts as examples, but a 400 mile pack is not "huge" compared to the 345 mile pack the R2 is coming with. Question: Assuming no cost penalty, if all EV's came with say 500 miles of range do you think more people would buy them? In all my years of EV driving I know the main reason...
  5. Am I the only one who thinks anything less than 400mi of range is legacy at this point?

You have got to be kidding. I'll not continue to explain the obvious.
  6. Am I the only one who thinks anything less than 400mi of range is legacy at this point?

Explain how battery pack size impacts the price of ICE vehicles...
  7. Am I the only one who thinks anything less than 400mi of range is legacy at this point?

What I find odd is the anger that some people seem to express towards those who want/need a larger pack and more range. I'm perfectly fine with anyone who is happy with a smaller pack and less range. My first EV was a conversion I did myself, it had about 45 miles of range in good conditions...
  8. Am I the only one who thinks anything less than 400mi of range is legacy at this point?

Which part of ICE's aren't impacted by the price of battery packs was confusing?
  9. Am I the only one who thinks anything less than 400mi of range is legacy at this point?

You were agreeing with someone who falsely claimed that people wanted 2x the range they have now when responding to the OP who simply felt that for him 400 miles was the acceptable minimal amount of range. You equated that false claim to the increasing cost of vehicles. Vehicles in general are...
  10. Am I the only one who thinks anything less than 400mi of range is legacy at this point?

How does that make it better? And it doesn't matter how you paid for it. You bought an expensive EV with a large battery pack to get the range you wanted yet now you're trying to criticize others who want to do the same? Plenty of irony there, and hypocrisy.
  11. Am I the only one who thinks anything less than 400mi of range is legacy at this point?

Did you forget the "sarcasm" tag? If not, the irony...
  12. Am I the only one who thinks anything less than 400mi of range is legacy at this point?

Obviously not. All those people were right. See the idea is to get as many people to adopt EV's as possible, and shockingly, different people have different needs. Yes, the world is larger than just you and your specific needs. People like you would hold back the EV industry if OEM's...
  13. Am I the only one who thinks anything less than 400mi of range is legacy at this point?

The fastest charge stop is the one you don't need. I have some trips that a "400" mile range, 350ish real world, means I don't need to charge at all.
