  1. California Wristband

No. It’s all done remotely. Once they have the key ID number, it’s synced with your vehicle for future recognition.
  2. California Wristband

Submit a service request on your phone, to have a new wristband key assigned. You need to include the donor vehicle’s owner name and VIN, and your vehicle’s VIN, and the wristband key ID number. They will not be able to process the transfer without this information. You will be contacted by a...
  3. California Wristband

Again, I wouldn’t call this a notion of being lucky… I still do believe your service center is misinformed. If this were a national policy, the keys & access team would have been the first to know, and likely the team to nationalize the policy to all service centers. I now have 2 wristband keys...
  4. California Wristband

I submitted a service ticket on the app. Someone from central service scheduling confirmed the info, and then forwarded to the keys and access team. It was all done within 3 hours after submitting a ticket. I am not a launch owner, nor was the seller of the wrist band (they bought it used as well).
  5. California Wristband

False information. That particular service center may be misinformed. I just had another one activated yesterday, that I purchased secondhand.
  6. 22” New Pirelli Scorpion MS - reviews?

Both of those Pirellis are softer, have a lower tread wear rating and give you 9/32” on a new tire. Thr substantially cheaper Continental TerrainContact H/T gets you a firmer compound, a longer tread wear warranty, and 12/32” on a new tire. I’ve also exhibited consistent better efficiency on...
  7. Has anyone tried this tire?

Wherever you buy from, check out possible discounts offered via Shop Through Chase, if you’re a Chase CC holder. A few of my Chase cards get me an additional 8-10% promo code, PLUS 4-6x pts per dollar spent, when buying from TireBuyer.com I believe Citi has a few merchant offers for tire...

115 is fine on a Rivian, especially if you aren’t towing at max capacity ever.

  10. Air Freshener for Rivian?

So it last longer and the smell isn’t always hitting me right in the face.
  11. Air Freshener for Rivian?

I stash mine under the driver or passenger seat. It also lasts longer this way.
  12. Tesla Universal Wall Connector Works Amazing

No issues with rain here. I charge outside using the built-in J1772 adapter.
  13. Tesla refusing to buy back Cybertruck or allowing buyer to sell elsewhere

Situations like this from other automakers really makes us appreciate Rivian, am I right?
  14. Alignment issues. Anyone else?

Plenty of issues and many threads on this. Search for threads with "alignment" and you'll get hundreds of comments.
  15. Ceramic tint the windshield?

Here a Reddit post I wrote explaining all information you’d need to know for tinting your R1S. I continue to chat with vehicle owners weekly about tint questions and recommendations, all coming from the post below. https://www.reddit.com/r/TeslaModelY/comments/11qgyvh/all_things_window_tint/ I...
  16. Who’s using EVgo and why - unreasonably expensive

I’ve tried 3 different EVgo stations in the past 2 weeks. Apparently my R1T does not like them. Every single station left me with the error below, regardless if I was starting a charge session from the app, or tapping a card at the terminal.

    DMV Rivian Owners

If you’re on Facebook, post them in the DMV group and the Mid-Atlantic group.
  18. I need solar EV charging system advice

I won’t consider Solar Edge personally, but maybe the OP will. I dislike having the central inverter as a single point of failure. Now, depending on the array size, you may need more than one central inverter which helps decrease that single point of failure issue. Central inverters do have a...
