That is an interesting bug. As a workaround you can turn the heated seats on through the app before you get in the truck. I do that on cold mornings and it's super nice to get into a preheated truck.

I had a BMW before the Rivian that had a heated wheel. Yeah, it got a bit warmer, but I have still been pleased with the Rivian wheel. Plenty for me. ?‍♂️ It could be worse. Some Lexus vehicles only heat the 10 and 2 position.

If you push a steering wheel button before or during the seat movement back to your normal position it will stop the process and then won’t allow you to restore it back to your normal position. Seems like a SW issue with an interrupt routine ?

This is exactly why I don't use tailgate pads. Imagine all the dust from a dirt road getting between the pad the paint. I'd PPF the entire tailgate before using one of these.
