That is an interesting bug. As a workaround you can turn the heated seats on through the app before you get in the truck. I do that on cold mornings and it's super nice to get into a preheated truck.
Exactly what I was afraid of with EV ownership. ??‍♂️
Whats the best plan to work around this? Full charge in Colby (headed east) or Salina (headed west)? Looks like there’s a 62kW charger in Oakley that may help a little bit. Planning on making this trip for thanksgiving and would love to take...
That would be frustrating. I received no notification that mine shipped until UPS notified me that I had a delivery from Rivian the next day. I’m also skeptical on those estimates. Mine was nearly 2 months off.
I had a BMW before the Rivian that had a heated wheel. Yeah, it got a bit warmer, but I have still been pleased with the Rivian wheel. Plenty for me. ?‍♂️
It could be worse. Some Lexus vehicles only heat the 10 and 2 position.
If you push a steering wheel button before or during the seat movement back to your normal position it will stop the process and then won’t allow you to restore it back to your normal position.
Seems like a SW issue with an interrupt routine ?
I was going to check my charger installation for this exact reason. I didn’t have the ability to torque the lugs to spec when I installed. Guess I’ll open it up and make sure they are still tight.
My guide indicated that there is still a possibility of getting a 2022 from the shop, but who knows. If it does happen, you can always unmatch from the VIN.
My thoughts exactly. A late build LE with the exclusive color (now only available in the shop) is a bit more unique. Plus, with the pre-March '22 pricing the LE's are too good of a deal to pass up. I picked one up from the shop a few weeks ago.
A warning though - check your VIN to make sure you...
This is exactly why I don't use tailgate pads. Imagine all the dust from a dirt road getting between the pad the paint. I'd PPF the entire tailgate before using one of these.
