I appreciate the new scheduling feature, but if I go into the app and start warming the cabin, seats, etc., will it start preconditioning the battery?
Is there another way to start the pre-condition? I don't always know in advance when I need to leave.
Thanks.
I want to say I noticed the same thing in my R1T a couple of upgrades back. 0-30 was still face smashing but after that it seemed like a regular truck.
The timeframe may correspond to colder weather and the battery not being warmed up. I will have to give that a shot. The new scheduling feature...
I'm going to say twice in the last 18 months. I don't even remember the last time, so maybe the issue has been fixed.
We're "fortunate" enough to live in an area where the power goes out regularly so maybe it gets enough of a reset from that.
I had a similar experience with the Atlanta service center for a recall. I finally contacted my guide, and things started to happen. She said she doesn't have much pull with the service center, so maybe the right people got involved at about the same time.
Beautiful R1S.
I would be interested to know how the guesstimator & Nav does predicting your range when making a long uphill climb to Flagstaff.
I'm in NC, and it seems to do a decent job of predicting but we don't have any inclines like that.
I had this happen recently at the gym. Left my key at home, and thought I would be ok, since I had my phone.
After working out, the truck opened the doors, but gave me the "present key" message.
In my case, I was able to reboot the phone and everything worked fine.
Just reading through this thread, on bumpy roads mine has a sort of metallic clank from the suspension. I'm almost always driving because so I can't tell if it's front or back or driver/passenger side. Also, I'm far too uneducated on suspensions to tell if it's control arms, struts, bushings...
Yep, I live in mountains and get that frequently. The first time I was going down a long steep grade, "OMG, how do I stop this thing!?". Yup, I was that spoiled by the one-pedal driving.
I think it got a little better with the last update, but then we got hit with cold weather, so it's tough...
I can't say for sure. On the first charger the connector was installed upside down from what the manual depicted. On the new charger, it was installed as depicted in the manual.
I hope that helps and good luck!
Ahhh...there it is. Thanks!
I think I like having it all together. I was trying to add up the total KWH input and miles to see how the miles per KWH including vampire drain and anything else going on.
Mine was installed in May. I'm currently on V03.01.49. I seem to recall an update over the summer that was supposed to fix something with the session logs, but now I can't even find how to retrieve the session logs?
The R1T is my first EV and charger, so is there anything else it should be...
Rivian support has helped me out with several issues, so I hate to be too critical, but based on my experience:
- Me: My phone won't pair as a key with my R1T.
- Rivian: After a thorough analysis we have determined that your phone is not compatible with the R1T.
- Me: My R1T did not work at a...
I don't try to use the hotspot often, but up where I am my Verizon phone and Rivian hotspot (on the ATT network) can have widely different coverage.
Yesterday, I had 3 or 4 bars on the Rivian with Spotify/Alexa working, and no bars on my cell phone. I tried to connect my phone to the hotspot...
