It seems clear to me that Elon has entered the Boardroom and pulled the pin on a grenade. He will take out everything and everyone if he does not get his $55 Billion. Tesla Inc. is expendable. The customers are a nuisance. The Supercharger team head dared to push back on letting quality go out...
If you have never owned an EV before you are going to be shocked at how little maintenance (if any) you need. Wiper blades are really the only thing that needs regular changing out. Brakes will last 100k miles and probably changed out from age at 100k or 120k miles rather than wear.
I’ve been seeing this thing tooling around here in the Florida Panhandle for a couple of days now.
Cybeetruck looks massive in real life but photographs a bit smaller. Weird. I guess it’s the proportions with its straight slab sides. The stainless was pretty dirty. On the road in normal life I...
1. Apple cuts entire car division a few months ago.
2. Elon is clearly over being in the car business. It no longer interests him. He is much more personally engaged on social media and AI at this point in time as his shiny new objects of desire.
3. Elon‘s actions indicate he is unconcerned...
I going to keep my A2Z adaptor as well in case I purchase a compatible eV when my kids start driving in 3 years… make that 2 1/2… years.. damn, time flies :(
Sorry to disappoint but car roof-sized solar arrays are little more than a joke. i Have a home solar array capable of 7.6kw inverter output that can provide enough to charge 12 miles or so per hour. my 9.1kw worth solar panels cover most of my southern roof. Car-sized solar can never have enough...
Rivian will survive as a company, they can issue more stock. They can get into bed with another company, or they can lean on a credit facility…the company stock will suck If these things happen. But the company and products will still be a reality. Rivian products are real and hitting the...
The irony of course is that the lowering price of used EVs is turning into a screaming deal quickly. Lower prices will interest a lot of buyers into at least taking a test drive. I already have a list of used EVs in my head when my 13 year olds turn driving age. And they will be relatively cheap...
So on the Ford site configuring one of these Mach-Rallys it builds up to $66k without dealer shenanigans. This is already $6k over my personal guess on Rivian’s delivery price on a R3X. Then we’ll add in typical dealer markup of at least $10k on any performance variant these day and a Mach-e...

well it looks like the new Mustang Mach-E GT Rally strikes first in the retro-Rally inspired movement. Starts at $60k (we’ll see what dealer markups do to this) it does look inspired by Rally cars esp with the large rear wing. Magna-Ride...
Southern Georgia is still a EV desert and Don;t get me started on the entire state of Mississippi and a lot of Alabama. Rivian could really pick up some charge sessions with all of the US and State Parks down South.
That plot of land is likely to be occupied by Burger King, McDonalds and mini-malls if Rivian bails. Those that fought against a major prestige business and well-paid career center will be left with the usual eye-sore roadside noise paying minimum wage just like 95% of the rest of America.
When I was 18 I stayed up at nights watching Group B Rally races on ESPN in the 80’s dreaming of driving one those crazy things. Well, here is the 2024 Interpretation of that. I’m all over this on release. This is my ‘57 Chevy equivalent reference for the earlier Boomers. The same names of...
Rivian needs a partner in the EU to open up R3 -series ASAP. Europe is the natural fit for the R3 line and this line needs to deliver before the competition really heats up.. BMW seems to me to be the natural partner to get an R3 factory up and running in a short amount of time as possible with...
Bear in mind that currently a loaded Model 3 Long Range 2 motor is right at $60k with Autopilot added. FSD is $6k more than that. I think the smaller loaded tri-motor R3X at $60k is a safe bet. (all prices before any tax credits or other incentives)
