If I could convince them to clean and ceramic the wheels upon rotation once a year then that would be perfect.

Mine updated overnight and zero problems. My only nitpick is the smaller font and graphic in the gauges view. Not horrible, just immature product validation TBH. Get a ticket going asap! Maybe a soft reset would help if you haven’t tried that ( you mentioned the hard reset)?

While some of us wait for our R1s to be flagged, I’m still reading conflicting info on Sport Mode. Does it have the Soft ride setting? I believe my current Gen 1 Quad R1T has soft already so I’m hoping I can use Sport, Soft, Standard. Owner Manual pasted below from the 2026.03 update:

I’m a bit “worried” that the deeper kneel mode will be problematic for me when backing out of my driveway and turning the steering wheel. I thought the kneel mode option would have been a Kneel Lowest and Kneel selection to avoid it. I’m hopeful they’ve tested it thoroughly though.

For #2 is it the setting to auto ventilate the cabin “On”?

Gen 1 Quad launch mode not mentioned in Wassym’s tweet…

I have no idea what Rivian will include for a launch mode (suspension rake, F/R power distribution, etc) but, there is definitely a ramp up to full throttle curve applied to all ICE and EV vehicles with fly by wire throttles. There likely will be some optimization there.

My wife said never do that again after a “brake torque” launch in our Gen 1 Quad in sport mode. Definitely the fastest vehicle in a straight line that I have driven.
