Great point. That’s probably 10% of what I do with my phone in my car, but that would be a very important 10%. On local roads I’d not be looking to replace Waze with charging / Rivian Maps or vice versa. Waze is just worlds better, and they have police … this truck is FAST! Knowing where our...
The CarPlay thing is real. I didn't think it would be. I thought I'd be fine, as I have other non-Carplay cars and I would just deal, but it turns out, for a new, $90K vehicle, this is a big gap. We have two trucks in my garage. They are both awesome. One is an SUV with more room, more off...
My truck was in QC for well over a week at the SC and then arrived with a few very glaring misses. Makes me wonder what they actually caught during that time!
I still think you should return the truck… they have incentive to stick you with the truck and the hassle to fix their issues. Pass!
I just cannot imagine that tire pressure in my truck. Seriously 65psi blows my mind! With the stock 20AT's at 50psi, the ride of my truck is just not good. My BRaptor with 37" K02's at 37ps is significantly better and more enjoyable to drive (and so much quieter when it comes to road noise).
Return it. It’s that simple. No need to pay this much for a slapped together truck. Their QC needs definite work and this is how that feedback will get to them.
As my ATs slipped the other day when I stood on it, I wondered the same thing.
Those Trofeo-R’s at $600+ per corner will be a very expensive experiment… be sure to VBox that thing!
And I thought getting blown off for scheduling for two+ weeks and now having a month wait was bad for my SC ... May? Ouch!
One positive, I just keep adding things to the ticket and saying "don't reply, just add this to the scheduled appointment". Apparently you want to give them up until...
Porsche supported this on my 991.2 since 2017. There’s a simple menu to select 19” winter or summers or 20” summers. Not infinite. But covers the options that fit that car.
There are some very fun vehicles coming over the next few years. The e-Ray could be really cool. They’ll know a good bit about EVs by then. Excited about this one…. Just wish their base engines had more revs.
Whatever fully electric Wrangler, should be fun. Loved my 392XR. An EV topless...
Picked up my R1T today in Chelsea (Boston) this afternoon. Then proceeded to sit in Boston holiday traffic for 90 minutes going 16 miles. All I know so far is that the seats are comfy… :)
I was talking about the changes based on income eligibility, but it looks like they actually voted those in a year ago to bring the MAGI for joint filers limit from $500K to $300K. Time flies when you're waiting for a Rivian I guess.
In any case, no, this tax credit is not available to...
l see this being just like Henry Ford sending his engineers into the junk yards to see which parts on Model T’s were not worn out enough compared to the rest of the car so he knew where they were over engineered and wasting money. He was constantly looking for efficiency and cost savings. He...
Very happy to see deliveries from Chelsea in our group happening!
I've been sitting waiting for "#8 Schedule Delivery" from Chelsea to unlock for over a week. Nothing but crickets...
I’m figuring they’re trying to hit that 25k number by EOY, but at the rate they’re going, they’re likely to miss a lot of deliveries because folks will be traveling for the holidays. Trucks might be fully prepped as the Service Center, but will just be sitting waiting…
This.
I am sure the guides are swamped right now. Sounds like an unfun job. Maybe something else is up though. My guide’s apparently been unwell for a while and there’s been another who’s been trying to help after messages sit for more than a few days. I appreciate his efforts to help, but...
I’ve been trying to get this info for ages. How long once the truck is at the Service Center? The truck I will buy, unless it’s a QC nightmare (I have standards), is sitting 10 miles from my house and I just keep getting the vague “ they’ll call or text you when it’s ready.”
Now it’s only been...
