Yes, different 4 vs. 5 on the primary spoke, and don’t get me wrong..or think this is a criticism. I love both designs and plan to order this iteration of wheel on my R1S!
I much prefer the "buckled cover" over the mesh. The buckled cover would be cool if you could actually unbuckle it to get into the door pocket to remove all items and clean as well. Mesh will stretch, be lame—and obviously cheaper for them to manufacturer.
YEAH BABY YEAH!!!
They've done it! I can absolutely sleep/camp within the R1S! 'AWESOME' Twitter post from RJ confirms flat fold down second and third rows. So excited to see this materialized/realized. No other boxes needed to check other than a trip to Costco to purchase a mattress topper...
HOW FLAT IS "NEARLY FLAT"? Looking for confirmation as to "how flat" the rear of the R1S is with all seats folded down. I've seen mixed information, once from Rivian (somewhere) stating "completely flat," somewhere else maybe "nearly flat."
It seems like a huge oversight since they designed...
Great news about Meridian Audio! I was worried that we might have another Harmon based product on our hands.... I know the Meridian 825 watt system in the Land Rover products sounds quite nice, not as good as the Bowers and Wilkens as found in the Volvo products, but with 1,200-1,400 watts in...
I agree, (2) charger ports, (1) on each side of the car, (left) and (right).
Location at the front of car vs. rear for me.
A front and center location might get in the way of frunk access....
I'm looking at the large "RIVIAN" lettering at the back of the tailgate— thinking it is too large and also a great magnet for dirt (and more difficult to detail). Appears to me that they are mimicking Range Rover badging. I'm wondering if it would be possible to order one's R1T or R1S without...
Does anyone have a clear exterior and/or interior of the R1S rear cargo area?
Width of the rear door/tailgate?
Ability to fold down all the seats for a mattress?
Looking for these type of angle shots of the R1S.
Heated and cooled seats, quiet interior, plush ride, amazing stereo, driver assist packages, and technology forward = luxury in my mind.
Still like a few buttons and knobs for certain controls like volume and heating and cooling : ).
Well it is very exciting to see the new Land Rover Defender announced.

My first thoughts were "That's great!" immediately followed by "Why didn't they go electric?"
The gas engine, future expensive maintenance, no federal or state...
