While I don't mind that we have a camp kitchen or team on it (and it 1,000% is not the reason for delays), I will admit that it's extremely annoying that it got the most detailed video we've seen about the vehicle yet lol
From my Guide for those wondering:
I’m glad you reached out. If you haven’t seen it already, an email from RJ went out earlier announcing that deliveries for the R1T have been adjusted to begin in September. I have already reached out to see if this impacts your delivery timing in particular...
Before I share any other thoughts I'm just gonna say I was wrong, KWeimer711 and you were right. Sorry if I came off as a jerk. There are a lot of "speculation" threads and it's hard to take people at face value. Sorry! YOU WERE RIGHT!
I mean, there are a lot of factors that go into it. I'm just glad I was contacted - and contacted very early.
I think the OP heard, "At the earliest November for all R1Ts" when talking to their guide imho.
^ THANK YOU.
Yes, it's frustrating because we love the trucks and want more, but we can also chat CS whenever we want, there's a blog, and the CEO's Twitter is about products and not LSD-fueled ramblings ?
Sorry, I'm calling bullshit on your claim that a Guide said, "RJ will announce a delay today." Not only has that not happened today, but there's no reason I see why RJ would suddenly become the person to communicate that when all other "big news" has been from the Rivian account.
Moreover, when...
I don't think they have the level of detail we want from them yet. Or, if they have a general idea, they don't want to commit to it yet. That's reasonable imo as I'd rather rather have accurate information that doesn't change than a bunch of jumbled messages. What I've been most annoyed by is...
YES DUH!
I'm better understanding why other members have complained about your attitude in this forum. Most of your posts seem to be cynical and persnickety. You're a bit of a Debbie Downer :) Yes, we should criticize Rivian and hold them accountable, but we don't have to be... how you're...

Really!? I have a 2016 4Runner which has rear legroom of 32.9" and front legroom of 41.7" - both of which are smaller than the R1T (same goes for headroom) and it is not a small car!
This is great. Tons of details - especially for those of us with a keen eye that look closely at the pictures. There was a lot confirmed here that we've known about, but did we really know without seeing it finalized this way? ;)
Positive:
Heating and cooling. Great to see the back seats are...
So I've been having a pretty tough time reading in threads to see which configurations have been contacted by Rivian Guides so far. I think it would be helpful if we had one master thread where those contacted share their configurations.
If you've been contacted by a Rivian Guide, please reply...
