I'm picking up my R1S on Thursday (March 30). A few days short of 4yr 4months since pre-ordering. And ahead of my last updated delivery window (April-May). Before the Jan refresh. My window was Feb/Mar. But it switched to Apr/May in Jan.

I believe it will say on the speaker grills. Either "Meridian" or a Rivian logo. If its the Rivian logo - it is the new in-house audio. If it says "Meridian" on the speaker grills, it's the Meridian system.

I will definitely miss my teslafi data when we get our Rivian (and sell the model 3). Maybe I'll need to put my $dayjob skills to work building my own rivianfi ?

It's just a generic message and will keep saying that up until it's in Vancouver and ready to schedule delivery. Your guide can give you a more specific answer. Mine shows the same message - and did so both when it was at Normal waiting to get loaded and also now that it's en-route somewhere.

Which is still weird IMO for the reasons you mentioned. I've never had to pay ahead of a car - not even Tesla (just checked my email history, downpayment was required via certified cheque/bank draft due at delivery). So not sure why Rivian is requiring the bank draft ahead of time.
