  1. Dog triggering cabin lights?

So I noticed this today. I was taking my husky to the groomer, and t was the first time I had him in the R1S. And, as usual, he was bouncing from seat to seat and into the cargo area and back. I noticed that the cabin lights came on and stayed on, and I couldn’t figure out how or why they...
  2. 12 volt battery health monitor in app?

I guess that’s better than nothing, but it would be nice if we could monitor the battery and be aware before it becomes an issue. ceetiger
  3. 12 volt battery health monitor in app?

I received the latest Rivian app update today. I understood that this app revision was supposed to have a way to monitor your 12 volt battery health. Anyone figure out how to do that? I’ve been all through the new app and I can’t find it. ceetiger
  4. Would a soft/hard reset help...?

Thanks for responding. I am in all-purpose, soft setting. I see the front end drop around 2-3 inches when I put the R1S in park. Then immediately, the front end creeps back up, maybe 2 inches, so the overall kneeling is about 1 inch, which isn't much help to me. Someone suggested that the...
  5. Would a soft/hard reset help...?

Thanks for the tip - I did the infotainment reboot and also had to toggle the Hotspot button, but I have it working now. Still searching for an answer on the kneeling/standing issue. ceetiger
  6. Would a soft/hard reset help...?

I do have them on, so thanks for that tidbit.
  7. Would a soft/hard reset help...?

I have had my R1S for a week now, and I love it more each day. On Friday, I updated to 2023.34.00. Since the update, I have experienced these - 1. Upon getting into the R1S, the wipers cycle once and stop - everything else seems normal on startup. 2. I have kneeling enabled - since the...

  9. Right foot braking, and Cruise Control

Not coasting is a challenge for me also.
  10. Right foot braking, and Cruise Control

I recall an effort when I was in high school to get us to use left foot braking. This was the mid sixties and automatic transmissions were becoming the new standard.
  11. Right foot braking, and Cruise Control

Yes it is, and I was not sure that pushing up on the stalk would do that, or put me into reverse somehow. Thanks for the suggestion, and I will try it the next time I am on the road. ceetiger
  12. Right foot braking, and Cruise Control

I am a baby boomer, and I grew up on stick shifts. My first 3 cars were all manual transmission. So I am a hard-wired right foot braker. While the 2023.34.00 update was a great help, I am having a bit of a time adjusting to quickly moving my right foot from the break to the accelerator pedal...

  17. Disabling phone charger video/instructions?

Your results may vary - I have an iPhone 14 Pro, in a waterproof case. Anyway, my main reason for disabling the charger is phantom drain. What I choose to read and believe is my business, so don't concern yourself too much. ceetiger
  18. Disabling phone charger video/instructions?

Actually, I am in Salem. I pick up my R1S on Monday at the Atlanta SC. Maybe we can meet up if you want to see mine after I get it. Mine is Limestone with Forest Edge interior. ceetiger
