Here's the latest under 2022.31, Camp Mode's "Power Off" option for a full day. No appreciable change compared to 2022.27. I'm still losing 6mi/day.

Just got 2022.31. I'm measuring drain on Camp Mode's "Power Off" first, then going to try regular operation.
I noticed the steering wheel is locked now so the power steering pump is likely off. I would bet this is where the 10% improvement comes from. We'll see if it's true.
This is fixed in 2022.31. I'd bet $50 this is where the "10% improvement to vampire drain" came from, and another $50 it's going to be more than 10%. I'm measuring Camp Mode "Power Off" drain now, then will measure regular drain to see what we get.

Agree, and if Rivian's OS sees that the truck is staying awake for too long without accessories on, without presence or GG or other mitigators it could defensively reset or at least notify the user. It's out of control.

Because they advertised a feature that doesn't work at all. The advertising materials and owners manual lie to you about the working functionality of the system, and it is so trivially testable that it simply cannot be true that Rivian does not know about it.

Where is it now? I am still consistently losing 6mi/day, so roughly 2.8 kWh or so, making this one of the highest-consuming appliances in the home.

I've been monitoring my vampire drain with homeassistant. I see about 6mi/day (~3kwh or 2%) loss every day.
I see the truck switching from "sleep" to "ready" power state roughly every hour.
I think there may be a problem with Gear Guard. It should be obvious when it is on in terms of battery...
As far as I can tell, the option to turn off Gear Guard at home has the same power usage as having Gear Guard on. It just doesn't save videos. Seems like a fixable bug.
