Does anyone know what these two ports\openings are at both ends of the grille? The main radiator has the active damper in the center to manage battery temp. Trying to figure what the purpose of those side ports that look like ram airs.

It's very region specific for how much they care to enforce the state law. If anything they just use it as a reason to pull you over and have a chat. For example in California where we live it's required to have a front license plate. But in our county most vehicles don't have their front plate...
