They just missed a huge opportunity for many Rivian owners to dress up like the Hoss for Halloween and post it with their R1x on social media. So I agree, they should have done something for the majority, simply for the sake of a marketing opportunity.

I read that Tesla changed the way their AI was learning, they went away from the driving data and data points being captured to video/visual AI learning, based off a crap-ton of driving video captured, that changed their FSD and leapfrogged how much better it is from prior iterations.

I think the EV hummers are great, I really enjoyed this quote “…is the 2025 Rivian R1S Quad Ascend worthy of induction into the hallowed supercar class? We say yes, haters be damned”. Motortrend writers have been very supportive of Rivian.

Yeah, totally, I was just surprised how MT said it gets 1 mile per kw. Anyone wonder if software could be used to the unlock the performance of the gen 1 quad? If you add programmatic launch control, your 0-60 and 1/4 mile improve.

Great to see Rivian getting the recognition, but the range and the " 1 mile per kWh" aren't the most appealing.

For those with the garage button issue, mine had actually disappeared before the update, but the suggested fixes mentioned worked. With regards to sound, it’s louder and almost seems like the gain was adjusted as well. I don’t know about quality yet, I’ll need to adjust my equalizer...
