I'm pleasantly surprised at the price of the R1S. Obviously comparing it to the Model X blows the X out of the water, especially with the $7,500 tax credit. I can't afford the X so instead I was actually comparing the Rivian R1S to the all-new 2021 Grand Cherokee L coming out soon.

This is an interesting thread. The measurements I got from Rivian chat came out to:
Behind 3rd row: 21 cu. ft.
Behind 2nd row: 55.7 cu. ft.
Behind 1st row: 92 cu. ft.
That seemed really generous comparing it to a Telluride or 2021 Grand Cherokee L.
For the 300 mile pack, wouldn't you just be able to charge once on the way back to Seattle from Portland? I drive from Seattle to Eugene every couple months and know I'd need to charge probably twice.
