I’m 8 months in, 5 so far, 4 times for air suspension. Have another coming up. Always the same damper blowing out. No off-roading - just highway, about 3200 miles tot so far.
But my experience seems to be an anomaly.
I have an X5 45e (PHEV) w/air suspension. It’s significantly quieter than my R1T - doesn’t adjust unless I tell it to change, and is nearly silent. The Rivians system is loud and squeaky for sure.
Aside from the AC, those all sound like simple 1 visit to the SC to fix.
If you were having suspension issues, battery issues, alignment issues then I’d be more inclined to return because those seem to be the types that take multiple visits and multiple days for them to resolve.

FYI, California started cracking down on that. Everything from high end cars - to RVs, they were missing out on revenue. Personally know someone that got caught.

I got my manual tonneau address verification email in Friday. I took delivery in March 179xx vin.
I don’t expect it to ship for at least a couple weeks. From email - “Your manual tonneau cover will be shipped in the coming weeks.”

I definitely feel the Tesla Tap is a better product. UL Rated, more solid design. Anecdotally I’ve heard less issues with Tesla Tap than Lectron users.

For what it's worth - I'm using the Builtright tow-hook mount. It seems pretty tough (the mount appears to be strong plastic, 4 machine bolts holding it together. The backplate (to which you mount your license plate) is machined metal. Happy so far.
