I’m 8 months in, 5 so far, 4 times for air suspension. Have another coming up. Always the same damper blowing out. No off-roading - just highway, about 3200 miles tot so far. But my experience seems to be an anomaly.

I have an X5 45e (PHEV) w/air suspension. It’s significantly quieter than my R1T - doesn’t adjust unless I tell it to change, and is nearly silent. The Rivians system is loud and squeaky for sure.

I definitely feel the Tesla Tap is a better product. UL Rated, more solid design. Anecdotally I’ve heard less issues with Tesla Tap than Lectron users.

Well - in that case the Tap would work for that, and the Rivian would only draw its max (48A)

Yep - I have a number of EVs but none of them are at 80A charging - it is more of an “overbuilt” choice.

For what it's worth - I'm using the Builtright tow-hook mount. It seems pretty tough (the mount appears to be strong plastic, 4 machine bolts holding it together. The backplate (to which you mount your license plate) is machined metal. Happy so far.
