I'm happy they are gearing up for a product launch but man would I love to have my PTC on and working. Could've used it a ton this last year. I know it's an evolving entity and not everything is sequential....however, I want my cover. lol
My HV battery "failed" at 4k miles. I was told the contactors that were built inside the HV pack failed. If any of the contactors fail, the entire battery pack needs to be replaced since it's sealed inside. From what I understand the cells are still good. It's probably a relatively low cost fix...
Awesome to finally hear someone has had the new PTC installed. I was in my local SC and asked them if there is any news. I was told only 3 or 4 had been installed and they were all employee vehicles. That was last week.
I use PAAK almost exclusively. I carry the key card in my wallet just in case something happens. I remember when their system went down and everyone who used PAAK was locked out of their vehicles. I thankfully had my backup card on me.
Ya…..Unfortunately I was in High and when I pulled out onto the road there was a large utility truck speeding around a blind turn and I had to accelerate so I wouldn’t be rear ended. Made an awful sound. I figured it might be a torque vectoring’ feature’ as to not snap axles or ruin a...
When in All-Purpose (High) and accelerating quickly, I get a loud clicking sound. I’ve had the recall done for the axle shafts. Does anyone else experience this or know what this sound is and why is happening?
I will try and get a video of it later today. Thanks!
it’s a software update. The computer recalibrated range estimations based on the configuration you have set. Also the graphic shows the truck with the new wheels
Thanks!
the ride quality feels softer than the 21’s. More plush. Little more roll on the sidewalls when pushing hard turns. Road noise seems to be about the same. Have put about 200 miles on the tires so far.
Went exploring immediately after getting my truck back from Rivian. My 21's tread were getting low so it was nice to get some fresh shoes installed. Thankfully I know of a spot where I can get some dirt on the tires and not have to push it too hard. Enjoy some of the pics from my exploring.
