I want to see the written response that Rivian supposedly gave him. He posted this exact story on the Facebook group.
If someone hits you and totals your car, you get the value of the car...you don't get a brand new car. Nothing different about this here.
Not as important on an EV as an ICE car but the fluid that is in the chambers of the ABS system, master cylinder and the calipers needs to be changed as well. You did the first part right...just need to attach a pressure bleeder like the Motive and bleed the fluid out of each caliper until you...
Well...they don't call them Suckaroos for nothing! I replaced both half shafts on our Honda Element as preventative maintenance at 200K. Boots were still perfect.
I would never use that. It has a petroleum base that eventually evaporates but will actually hurt rubber. In addition, it has acetone, heptane and other solvents in it which will also attack rubber.
I can't even remember having a CV boot split before the joint wore out. CV joint boots have...
I was going to do my windshield in a blocking tint but after driving my sister's car at night, no way I would put ANYTHING on the windshield.
I am going to tint the drivers row the same as the back seat which is what I do on all my cars. Just haven't gotten around to it yet.
I have had a cop...
Just measured my Wallbox Pulsar with a Fluke 325 and it was toggling between 20mA and 10mA(meter precision) so assuming its 15mA, that's 3.6W.
Supposedly there is a mode to turn off the LED light ring....I think I will live with the 3.6W!
Open the panel and put a current meter on the line and see what it measures at idle. I am also curious to see on mine. If it uses more than 50mA(12W), I will be very surprised.
EDIT: For my Wallbox Pulsar charger, Gemini says between 2 and 5 watts. I am going to measure mine when it stops raining.
I do my own 3D printing and I would design mine a little different than that one so it doesn't rub on the bumper. That being said, I bought the Snapplate one and it also rubs slightly on the bumper.
The way that one mounts seems a little cheezy. And why did they use those types of screw heads...
