  1. Anyone trying the EVBASE Running Boards?

Also worth noting - I didn’t use the fasteners included for the truck side mounting as there didn’t appear to be any way they would actually work (too short) so I reused the factory fasteners.
  2. Anyone trying the EVBASE Running Boards?

I haven’t - I was drained after the install so I didn’t dig into it much beyond making sure all the fasteners were tight. I suspect the rails themselves may need to come apart and have a washer or foam added.

  4. Anyone trying the EVBASE Running Boards?

That’s a good summary. Hard to recommend unless you just want basic running boards and don’t really care otherwise. I’m eyeing the Electruck4x4 Megawatt running boards - they address every complaint I have about the EVBase ones.
  5. Anyone trying the EVBASE Running Boards?

I just posted my video and I think it will answer your questions, but happy to answer any additional.
  6. Anyone trying the EVBASE Running Boards?

Installed them today… to say the instructions are useless is an understatement. 2 of brackets were labeled for the incorrect sides. Full install and initial thoughts video coming…. They’re “fine”, but I may replace them.
  7. Texas Trade your Rivian Blue R1S for my Red Model S Plaid?

    I’ll match @rhuber’s reasonable offer of Plaid + $25k - R1T / Rivian Blue / Ocean Coast / 20” AT / 18k miles.

  10. ?️ Tested: Did Rivian Fix Charging Thermal Issues in 2023.2.3? With CAN Data!

It should be very close as I cleaned up the data to reflect when charging started / ended.
  11. ?️ Tested: Did Rivian Fix Charging Thermal Issues in 2023.2.3? With CAN Data!

I am, labels should be added, I agree, but I don’t have time stamps / SoC in the data.
  12. ?️ Tested: Did Rivian Fix Charging Thermal Issues in 2023.2.3? With CAN Data!

I certainly can - that result may just be a tweet rather than a whole video. Wanted to get this video up and it takes a lot of time to drain such a huge pack to record these ?
  13. ?️ Tested: Did Rivian Fix Charging Thermal Issues in 2023.2.3? With CAN Data!

This is a pretty technical video, but essentially I’m comparing the charge taper curve between new and old software and how they’re managing the heat of charging. New software is marginally better.
  14. ?️ Tested: Did Rivian Fix Charging Thermal Issues in 2023.2.3? With CAN Data!

They’re likely concerned about making the temperate gradient worse - hotter cells getting hotter and cooler cells getting cooler.
