Would be interested if you turn it back on how it behaves.
I have not had connectivity issues driving around but after the update my WiFi only connected to the 2.4 gHz signal at my house. I turned WiFi off, waited a bit and turned it back on and it now it connects to the 5 gHz signal.
I do not think it needs to be plugged in. I know people say always be charging but I’ve had my R1S a little over 3 years and 45k miles. I only plug it in once or twice a week when I charge, unplugged other than that. Have had my Tesla 10 years and 118k miles, have done the same thing with...
They have a single paint line but use a state of the art paint system that uses cartridges. There is a video out there somewhere talking about it. They can paint each vehicle a different color with no need to purge anything. I think they said the vehicles only need to be 3 meters or so apart...
I agree, it is pretty dark but if you have had a black interior you will notice this is not that in person. I’ve had black in a Tahoe and a Jeep, I thought the R1 was black as well until I saw it in person.
Edit:
This is a good picture of what it looks like in person, this is my R1S but the R2...
Could this be the issue?
The Rivian Assistant can read and manage your appointments. It integrates with Google Calendar, allowing users to check and manage their schedules using voice commands. However, it currently only supports personal calendars and does not read shared calendars.
Features...
Honestly I think the larger problem Rivian may be facing is the economy. They need people to be in the market for a new vehicle.
If we look at the economy indicators out there right now having people in the market may be a challenge.
Inflation is high, credit card debt and number of cards...
That is referred to as autonomy jail. If I ignore my Tesla or Rivian and they have to react it will happen. Only corrective action is to pay more attention and react promptly. My vehicles do provide a decent amount of time to react.
I can’t find a separate volume for the chime, it seems to be tied to the RA volume. That can be controlled by clicking on the speaker, then the settings and adjust the Rivian volume or use the volume scroll wheel while the RA is speaking. The chime will raise or lower based on that setting.
Really because the universal is simply just adding a built in adapter. I never understood the real value of the universal charger. I paid 399 for my Emporia charger with a J1772 and can charge the R1S or the Tesla with the J1772 to J3400 that came with the Tesla.
Maybe someone can explain what...
Don’t forget the 4k difference between premium and performance. 206hp and more drive modes, not sure what else might be in there.
The performance might not matter to you, just wanted to point it out.
The spare in the R1 came with installation, they removed a piece of trim, added the mounting bracket, put in a new piece of trim, it also included the jack and tools to change the tire.
Did not seem excessive to me, was not just the tire. I assume the R2 is the same.
The charger is $400, you add it to the order, then as it totals they give you a $400 credit to offset the cost. Net is zero, you probably still are charged the tax, in CA tax is usually calculated before the discounts are applied.
