Hey @myr1t! With our 75# lab we've had a great experience with a folding 4-stair step with padded treads (plenty of options, ex: https://a.co/d/g0EeQZI). I replaced the hinge hardware, but it's very steady propped against the side of the R1T's rear door lower panel at multiple angles and...
'Behind' is subjective. And history indicates it is more 'rare' to to see X.x.0 release.
While several recent releases have in fact been X.x.0 versions, the majority have included a patch or two. Software versioning traditional follows a very similar naming convention: Major.Minor.Patch
Rivian...
@abirozy, I haven't heard of a release yet.
However based on the past OTA releases, it looks like they work in 4-week sprints (19.x, 15.x, 11.x, etc), and are averaging about 3 weeks from end of sprint to public release.
If the next release is 23.x (where 23 corresponds to the 23rd week of...
Brian, yes, I just saw that mode the other day. Seems like it would be the ideal stationary mode for an extended stay at a trailhead or airport. Personally, I'd prefer this style of preserve parked mode that uses the least amount of energy possible, mainly so I never need to use the Conserve...
Gabriel, I'd like this mode as well, even if just for making it easier for my dog to get in and out of the truck. Max ride height takes quite the "launch mode" to complete the aerial maneuver required to stick the landing in the back seat.
Entry/Exit mode could pull the steering wheel up and...
You're absolutely right, should just combine those two steps. Tapping Tire Change mode should first set the ride height to Max, then apply the other tire change settings.
Though you'll probably want to use Entry/Exit/Kneel/Low mode first, just to climb into the bed and pull out the 90lb tire!
The discussion on vampire drain has me thinking about a Dumb Truck Mode, aka Low Power Mode that could be one-tap enabled when you exit the truck that would disable gear guard, put the vehicle into a deep sleep mode, and have it disconnect from wifi/cellular until it has been unlocked and the...
They do have a Tire Change mode (pg 155 of the Owner's Guide).
I've added that to the list of current modes. Also updated the votes on the first post as well.
@rosspa2, what does Camp Mode look like to you? At my First Mile drive, the local Rivian employee talked about camping directly in the...
Great point Mike! I've amended the Valet description, as it does make perfect sense.
My mind went only as far as recalling my favorite summertime job as a teenager, valeting fancy cars at a 5-star restaurant. The fancier the car, the closest to the entrance it was parked. Boss's rule. Pretty...
Updated first post with current wishlist of modes and votes.
Thinking the truck may need a mode for those urban adventures. Something like:
Home Depot Mode - on approaching the vehicle the tailgate drops and tonneau retracts, all windows roll down and the Meridian sound system on volume level...
