Thanks for getting back to me and appreciate there are likely lots of ways of handling this without it being a waste of material and makes sense for people like me. My only concern is that I may not have got the pieces on in exactly the right position so attempting to align the bits in the first...
@twraps I got some of the earlier Wraps and they were relatively easy to install and offer great protection for all sorts of trees that off roading offers, but they have some gaps particularly the rear side panels, any help with how we "upgrade" theses sections?
Completely understand, this was more a general observation of the heat you get in the frunk and a mitigation for it not a requirement for the fridge to go in there.
I've actually been thinking about the frunk as it gets quite hot and not really sure I want to put things in there that need to stay cool. One solution I was thinking of was to take the tub out and coat it with a reflective insulation since most of the heat is coming from the cooling system for...
My experience... Slashed a tire up on trail without a spare, Bellevue service center fast forwarded my spare delivery to my truck on the trail, swapped it out and when I got back to the service center they put a new tire on and washed the truck in about 30 minutes. Call out to Hector who drove...
Update..
Rivian rocked it, picked me up and drove out to the truck to put on the new tire. Shout out to the Bellevue service center, lots of good communications and fantastic service.
Pictures of the not so ordinary tire change.
Ordered the spare but didn't have it yet and first time out...
I've not really experienced any drain a few miles overnight, however there is a definite bug/feature where if you don't fully close the door the truck will burn through the kwh. For example, didn't realize that the rear passenger door was not fully closed and used 8kwh in a day, close the door...
This really sucks, but I know how it happens, left the garage door open before, but now I have more sensors than you need to make sure I know when that happens.
I also created a request for gear guard, while not official Rivian do apparently take a loom at the site feel free to vote or add a...
A data point. New truck first night in the garage unlocked with gear gaurd off at home, wifi connected, lost 0 miles and 0 percent, second night 1% and 3 miles. I'll keep an eye on it to see if things change tonight. But I wonder if other new owners can keep an eye on it for the first few nights...
I was there recently, just looking around and the service manager was really helpful and there seemed to be lots of activity, so hopefully a poor routing experience but a good service experience based on the conversation I had.
Best of luck.
Guide is saying they don't know how long with the new train setup, even with a Vin he said end of Aug probably sand bagging a bit, be interesting to see if anyone else got the train delivery and has an estimate on time.
Color and wheels, took a look at the local service center and lots of elcap and forest green, changed to el cap and 21s guide assigned today. See what happens next.
