Our family had a chance to interact with the R2 at the Denver block party. Absolutely loved the vehicle, however it was a very hot day and trying to close the manual-only frunk was tough without getting burned on the hot paint. It was a stretch for my wife to reach and kids couldn't do it all...
Mine glitches a lot as well, but no different after the latest update. I sure would love to see a way to toggle to the next saved station using the steering wheel though!
Thanks for the post. I ordered both as well. Would you recommend installing the running boards first, and then the aero covers, or is that not an option?
I agree, had the same issue trying to tailgate in the evening watching fireworks. Wish there were a way to independently turn those lights off. (camp courtesy doesn't solve the problem) Would love to hear if you figure out a solution.
Hi all,
Anyone in the front range area have an R1S with the Megawatt rock sliders installed? I'd love to take a look in person at an R1S with these before I pull the trigger. Thanks!
Factory 21's are quiet, comfortable, and very efficient. They aren't amazing in snow, but are excellent for everything else in my opinion. I'm surprised so many people are ditching them.
Yep, Toyo says these 275/60/20 116 SL are available now but my local tire shop can't find them anywhere. Anyone have luck actually finding this tire? Thanks!
Hi all, if anyone is still following this, I just received my approval letter 12 weeks to the day after submitting my protest letter. I did not have the door jam available (sold that R1S and purchased another) so just used a photo copy of the GVWR from the owner's manual. It was frustrating to...
Can anyone with the R1S running boards comment on whether the angle of the leading edge by the front wheel is the same as the trailing edge by the rear wheel? In other words, do the R1S running boards appear symmetrical front to back if cut down the middle? Also, @RealWheelsEV can you comment...
The XL should have fewer ply's and therefore be lighter and a bit more compliant ride on the road, as well as better range. The sacrifice of course being less durability for off-road.
I'm about to purchase the Typhoon A2Z adaptor and the web site has a bundle offer for an AC adaptor as well. Is this AC adaptor what I would need to use at a hotel or friend's level 2 garage that only has Tesla (NACS) charger? Thanks!
I used the Twraps. It does look good from a distance, but up close the color is a little more matte than the surrounding high gloss on the Rivian. I had my PPF installer install it when they were doing the PPF. He charged one hour of labor and said it went on easily and was good quality.
