I plan to order / pre-order once some of this is more finalized and we get finalized pictures of the product. $799 is a good chunk of change for side steps. Hopefully those pictures come before they remove the free shipping.
In my case, it was in October with mild temperatures in California, driving straight down (south) i5 at 70mph, averaging 2 mi/kwh in conserve mode before getting to any elevation changes. When going up the grapevine in southern California, I averaged 1.1 mi/kwh, when going down I averaged 2.45...
I knew I was forgetting something!!
Really though, I do know it needs an alignment, and im fairly certain tires are inflated enough, but will double check. I considered increasing the psi to experiment if it'll help either way.
It is baffling to me how bad my range is. It doesn't bother me...
Now I'm really curious what's going on with my truck (or me). My road trips thus far with similar speeds, I am averaging 1.75 - 1.95 at best, in conserve mode.
I don't question the danger to others, at all. It's part of the risk of living in a free society. Same can be said for far more than just people driving spiritedly in their cars. If I made a mistake, it'd be tragic, could end some ones life, including my own or my family's. It would be a...
Maybe I'm a lunatic, but I've hit the speed limiter a few times in the month I've had it. It gets there too quickly. People can bestow their "wisdom" upon you all you want, but as someone who spent many miles on a track, and knowing how to control a vehicle at high speeds (and when not to go...
I have not gotten the email, however we are doing a road trip next week so wanted to be sure. Went to the South San Francisco service center and it was a super easy drive up experience. Didn't take more than 5 minutes, which is super appreciated!
Alright, got the 1in ball mount in (Thanks @RWerksman) and I think this is a pretty decent setup for a non-iphone user currently. I've never used RAM mounts before and I'm already not a fan. I've always been a proclip user for all my phones / vehicles so I'm excited what they'll eventually have...
This also happens to me. I work out in my garage and the songs stop after every few seconds when using any other Bluetooth devices. Only fix for me (on Android) is force closing the Rivian app, then it works perfectly. Fwiw, I think the camp speaker is unrelated. I think it's the Rivian app...
Something I have learned to appreciate is how the rear doors swing and how narrow they are and how they cut in (due to the gear tunnel). This is super helpful when in a parking place and getting your kid in / out of the car seat.
To take advantage of a myriad of mounts and fixtures out there, I think 20mm would be a good size. I ordered both your 1" and 17mm to try them out in various configurations to see what works best for me.
Yea unfortunately I thought it was a flange that allowed 17mm balls in the arm to a 20mm ball flange, but it's actually the reverse (a 17mm to 20mm ball) which isn't helpful in this particular case.
