This is exactly what I had. I killed the power at the breaker and removed the face plate. In my case the molex to the front plate was not even connected, but for others it seems it was lose or upside down. Check that and then close everything up and try again. It took me longer to find the...
This thread saved me a ton of time. While I was on hold waiting for the tech, I pulled off the face plate and found my electrician missed the connector entirely. Had the problem fixed just as they joined the call.
BT is just the transmission standard. Your comment did make me wonder what version of BT they're using and what codecs are supported though. The manual only says BT 4.2+, but if they're supporting BT 5+ the audio should be much better over short range. I'll have to do some testing to see what it...
Testing with Spotify on High Quality (it's set lower by default) vs Amazon Music (though Alexa) vs BT, I do not notice a real difference. Even with an expensive audio setup it's hard to hear the difference most of the time. When you add road noise and the acoustics of a car, it should be almost...
Mine is annoying, but working on 2022.23.5. Alexa seems to pick Spotify or Amazon Music at random. I've gotten into the habit of adding "on spotify" or "on amazon music" to my voice commands to ensure it pick the one I want. I'm not unhappy that it can use Amazon Music, but I really wish it...
I got the update on the later side too. Since getting it, I have noticed general connectivity issues. Alexa and Spotify seem overly temperamental as a result (and my HotSpot stopped working). May need to reset again.
Agreed. I generally listen to music a ton and the audio system in the R1T was a nice selling point for me. The experience has been a disappointment. It feels like a chore to find an play music a lot of the time. I also really miss satellite radio. Just being able to put on a station I know and...
Alexa has been all over the map for me. It seems totally disconnected from the system.
Music: Most of the time it works well, but not always. Sometimes it uses Spotify, sometimes Amazon Music, sometimes it doesn't work at all. It also seems to randomly select versions of songs without caring...
ChargePoint has some integration as you can initiate charging through the Rivian app. EA makes you pay and init through the EA app. Both show charger location and provide real-time availability for listed chargers. All of that suggests Rivian has agreements in place with both for some level of...
As much as I enjoy having Spotify built in, the execution seems a bit lacking so far. Not sure if it's just me, but the app does not seem to sync at all. Any other device I use Spotify on will show my recently played and has some logical organisation to my library. That includes showing things I...
That doesn't entirely make sense to me for a few reasons. First is that EA and ChargePoint appear to have partnered with Rivian to drive traffic to their chargers. Their entire goal is to get people to use their chargers so it's far more beneficial to them to have chargers shown in the Car's nav...
Mine only shows 6.6kW chargers near me. Waiting for my home charger would have been super painful had I not looked at plugshare and seen a 150kW charger nearby.
As I've started exploring my area, I've found a lot of chargers that are not listed in my R1t or the app. They are part of the networks Rivian lists though (Electrify America, Charge Point, etc). This is really annoying when I am trying to plan longer trips and/or look for a charger wherever I...
