I was contacted today by Rivian service for the 12v replacement. I've had no battery issues. Production date 06/23. Love my R1S. Thankful that Rivian is taking this proactive action.

I'm not thinking it is more secure, but if used for concealed carry, the fingerprint access would be a little faster for me than the interface unlock.
