Blue cruise is hands free Lane Keep Assist. To me LKA is basically useless if I can't remove my hands from the steering wheel. I'd put Ford's option much ahead.
Good comparison!
I am also giving a second thought on $2k off road package. For the price of the vehicle, $2k is not much and I might get $1k back in residual value. But for the purpose of off-road, it's mostly useless to me since it's highly unlikely I'll go over any boulder. But I am...
He has been driving P100D, Model S Plaid (and possibly Model 3 Performance) for a while. His comparison will be interesting with other high performance EVs, if not as a truck.
Killer Watt was on #2 and just fall back to #3
#1 is too far away and 2-4 are pretty close so positions can change by end of the day. But it's great to see that it's possible to reach one of the top 3 positions with R1T without any modification! Actually all top 3 teams right now are using...
Not very convincing article. Rivians largest customer base will be most likely 3 row and luxury SUV buyers. Looks like Bloomberg focused too much on truck (which is smaller than SUV market anyway) and didn’t calculate increase in EV buyers. Also to reach 500k sales is not near future. They have...
Driving a Hyundai Palisade Limited so not much difference in terms of comfort, and utility. But I'll love:
Driving an EV! I have been waiting for 5-6 years. I put a reservation for model 3 on day 1, waited 3 years, and then my requirements changed when they invited me to order.
Faast! I'd...
Did TFL said they are one of the first journalist to try that? Journalists have been driving this for months now including supercar blondie, MKBHD, Doug Demuro
I like TFL. I think their review would be one of the most dependable one for me because I feel like they focus on overall experience...
In S1 it says they are going to start producing R1S "in" December 2021. But I feel like that's a bit conservative. I've been with two startups when they went to IPO. Usually startups put some exciting numbers to get good valuation but still keeps some tricks under cover to exceed in first couple...
I cancelled my mach-e GT edition preorder I placed when they annouced after doing a test drive on Mach-e premium. I felt it's still a small car and Rivian will still beat it in acceleration. If I knew it'd be in such a high demand I could probably just buy and sell it myself. I can see some GTs...
Totally agree on both of these point. I first watched TFL about 9-10 years ago and they are now way more EV friendly. In fact Roman personally owned a model 3 for a year and did some long drive with other EVs. But they should admit that they are relatively small player in the field... 20 minutes...
Hi Tommy, thanks for joining the forum just for clarifying this! Though sad to hear that :(
I was really hoping for a review from you guys for a comparison with other EVs and offroad trucks/SUVs you've driven... and maybe a long drive experience.
I just hope Rivian strictly prohibits this unless the transfer is between immediate family members. I don't want to see what happened to gaming console / graphics card / sneakers.
I am fine even if they deliver my R1S LE by this day. I have a lodge reservation at Yellowstone and Grand Teton starting from end of June. My dream is to Drive there from Seattle in R1S ?
