Well my free charging party has ended, the DCFC chargers at the Ankeny Casey's now cost $0.35/kWh. The ones I use on the way to Okoboji were free but they also changed to the same price. Oddly, the station in Altoona is still free. All of them are part of the Shell Recharge network.

For anyone who finds a 3d print design file but doesn't know someone with a printer, maybe check your local library. Mine has a "maker space" which includes a 3d printer along with things like a green screen, cameras, cricut, sewing machine, etc.
