I think "Elmo" is more interested in pushing robotic manufacturing in my opinion. I think that this is the reason behind raising tariffs and pushing for manufacturing to return. This is the reason for his push to take over twitter and his political push.
Creating choking prices from abroad is...
mine was 6 hours away. That is why I chose safe-light. Was not possible to do a mobile repair. Main issue was the plastic wind fairing at the bottom of the windshield was not well installed. also the replacement (for whatever reason) involves changing out the windshield wiper sensor this has to...
will check and let u know re: heating elements. In my experience The safelite experience was fair/poor . went 3X back and forth for a suboptimal fitting. also not calibrated for windshield. IMHO if you can pencil in a Rivian replacement do it.....
The sad thing is that this guy in another continent had access to this vehicle. Should not be available to allies of Russia that is leading an intolerable conflict and creating economic chaos.
Having placed my order in 2019 (and received in 2024) I can say the customization options are an ever moving target. Even if you order something it very well may change. If it is not available in the menu it won't be.
Ok it took 3 trips to safelight - Walked away with a successful aftermarket install of windshield. Still have to have the calibration looked into, but at this time no issues noted with camera or wiper sensor.
Probably from a time perspective OEM install at Rivian the best approach. Thanks for...
So just walk away at the end of your lease. As stated in previous threads lemon laws usually have criteria. Plus you don't even own the car- you are leasing it. Sorry there is no guarantee with any line of vehicle out there- Otherwise most people would own that vehicle.
Update. So OEM replacement at safelight was blocked by the safelight supplier. Went back for a reinstall and the technician refitted the plastic trim at the base of the windshield. It seemed solid, but after a short drive it flopped back out of place. As there is a fair amount of electronics...
I had a recent travel between FL and Arkansas. Used the Lectron Vortex when at Tesla and neither had any plug in issues or dramatic electric delivery issues. A to Z has a better overall rep than lectron- but the lectron worked well for me. Admittedly I have a small sample size to talk about...
Ill say that I haven't read all the the threads on this matter but to me there is a ton of data coming in from navigation/ battery management. I would expect that a tech savvy company like Rivian won't compromise inflow of this data directly to them. Plus the CEO said don't expect car play - so...
