I don't really want the tonneau either, but my guide confirmed that they are not making without yet. And that its the one thing he could confidently say would affect delivery. So on it went!

I might be in the minority here, but it really doesn't bother me. I'll happily take it either way! And I'm sure the aftermarket will come up with something eventually

Did they give any indication of how far out delivery will be? I locked my OC in yesterday, but got the impression I was still quite a ways out from production and delivery

My guide indicated that the tonneau cover is the one item he could confidently say would influence delivery. I had it configured without as well, but added it and got a guide contact the next day. Possibly coincidental, but that could be a reason for your delay.

Had my intro guide call today, and he told me that the day they announced the update, there were a lot of OC trucks coming in the factory. It sounded like they built up some stock in preparation. Which hopefully means we'll see lots of OC deliveries s00n

I had an Oct-Dec 22 window, updated to Nov-Dec, and just got access to the R1 shop today! Philadelphia area, June 21 pre-order

I agree completely. I don't really need or want the cover. I just got the address confirmation email, and wondering if I'll only have the option for trucks with it
