At home I keep the auto unlock setting off and just manually lock/unlock with my phone or the keyfob. I usually wake the truck up through the app to have the HVAC temp ready for when I'm set to go so it's already awake and quick to unlock once I head outside. It's just too finicky at home and...
Most likely depends heavily on the weather and plant life on your driveway. I ended up getting a carport installed over our driveway because falling leaves/twigs/debris kept falling on the truck. We have a black walnut tree that already dented the hood and tailgate before we could get the...
Phone - Because I always have it anyways
FOB - Because I always have my house keys, and the extra weight is a good workout
Keycard - Because I always have my wallet, and it makes my ass look big
I've needed an extension of the hard plastic top cover for the upper part of the tailgate. This part seems to dent easily and I've already got some dings from fallen tree debris.
This company makes a (let's say...interesting...) spoiler for the tailgate, but I'd be looking for basically just...
My vote is for 5! The others feel very mismatched like a collage or scrapbook. 5 and perhaps 3 are the most cohesive, but 5 looks like the best overall design.
Great to hear! We also have 21's and would pretty much be just city driving or perhaps trips to Skamania around the holidays. We had good results with the snow storm in February with snow mode as well, so I'm glad to know these can handle even worse conditions.
I'll hang on to our existing...
I had a similar, terrible experience that almost cost me getting my truck on delivery day due to a non-responsive guide.
You can reach out to [email protected] to get someone to help you more quickly. I used this and was able to get through delivery with their help.
Perhaps someone else...
Anyone in the PDX area planning to swap out tires for this fall/winter? We're pretty much guaranteed snow nowadays come winter, and I'm curious about others approach to tire swaps in the Portland Metro Area. Anyone swapping tires out just for the rainy season?
Worth it? Not worth it? Any...
Working for me as well on Android. New feature is in trip planner here at the bottom:
I know that in previous updates some users have needed to restart their phones first and I've even had to sign out/in of the app in order to get new features to show up.
Last DD was a used 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo that I drove for the last 5 years. Loved how speedy and quick it was at the time, little did I know that the Rivian would absolutely blow it out of the water!
Previously I had a Suzuki SX4 hatchback for many years, and I remember at the time I...
Heads up that I've posted a thread on my experience with the manual tonneau here if anyone is interested: https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/pictures-and-details-from-todays-official-rivian-manual-tonneau-delivery.18700/
Hello Everyone!
I received my manual tonneau cover today so I wanted to share some (far too many) pictures and details as I went through my install.
Starter details:
R1T Order Date: 12/10/21
Pre-price increase Tonneau at $800
R1T Delivery date: 02/11/2023
Tonneau address confirmation email...
This is actually what has me mainly skeptical so far - we have the two main complaint threads with pictures of tonneaus that were *actually* damaged in shipping by UPS and another thread where the user damaged the tonneau because they didn't read the manual and decided to yank on parts they...
I'm taking reviews with a grain of salt until my cover actually arrives.
I remember when I was waiting on my R1T over the years I'd read all of the terrifying stories here and on Reddit all about how horribly designed and broken things were - from complaints of cup holders that won't take two...
So for those of us with notably lower air flow in the front seat vents since a few updates ago, do we they mean to say we just need to open a service ticket for now?
