So what plates are you putting on the R1S when you pick it up? Did they handle the state DMV registration for you like they would if it were new?

I’m waiting for contact from a reservation placed yesterday. I’m curious to see what fees are added to the price listed. I know there will be state taxes but what else should I expect, is there a delivery fee? Also how do they handle registration for an out of state purchase?

What did you use for plates while they were ‘in transit’ from DMV? I’m in the process of buying a used R1T from a dealer in Massachusetts and they don’t do temp plates so I’m supposed to get my DMV appointment and then meet them at CT DMV???? Very strange. I’m also looking into possibly...

Thanks for the intel. It’s hard to know what to look for and also concerned about a private party sale. There are a few listed at new car dealers in the Northeast that I might consider. I’m assuming that because they are not Rivian they really have limited knowledge of the truck in the first...

Looking into used R1T's and would like to know what to look for from people who have bought used. Are there any specific things to look for? Any issues buying used from a new car dealer? Does anyone have experience with getting a used Rivian checked out before purchase?

That was my main concern, the 2+ hr one-way drive from SE CT thru Boston. It certainly wasn’t fun getting to the Chelsea SC when I went to do the Demo drive.

Thanks. Yeah, nothing in CT or RI yet. I did a demo drive at the Chelsea, Mass. SC and the associate said they were looking to add some in the area but he couldn't give me any more info.

Seriously considering a used R1T to replace my ’22 RAM 1500. I don’t really need the full size Crew Cab but would still like a truck to put my bikes in and interested in going electric. My question is regarding service in the New England area. How would it work when the nearest SC is 88 miles...
