  1. Small lighter lost under seat

Holy smokes, this just happened to me with a chapstick. It rolls freely at every change in acceleration. I just tried making a kind of masking tape "sticky" trap, but had the hardest time intentionally fitting something into that opening. I have a snake grabber but can't really get it in to...
  2. RAN Rivian Charging Stations Locations Map via Google Maps

Yes! Hwy 1 WA ->OR-> CA is now fully open for business!!! SO STOKED
  3. Has anybody used the touchup paint pen yet?

I've used the pen on my el cap. I scratched the tailgate a bit loading a MTB. Pen was easy to use, the color matches, but I had a hard time getting the texture to match 100%. Within 5 feet and knowing the spot, you can tell it's corrected. Truck is currently covered in mud and will get a...
  4. Rivian Adventure Network Charging Stations Map Updated - Coming Soon Locations

This naturally makes me nervous about commitments for the rest of the network. Still, if they get these done in the next year, I'll be super happy.
  5. Your experience stopping on snow, on a downslope hill?

I recently posted a long review of the R1T in icy and snowy conditions on Reddit. TL;DR: On the 21s, I've had no trouble starting or stopping in a straight line, hill or not. (I also live on a steep hill, and it's been snowing/freezing all week). Lateral traction is a whole other issue, and a...
  6. R1T isn't a 'Truck'? Think Again. Best vehicle I've ever owned, hands down.

Great story. I've got a big gripe though. Why no pictures of the motorcycles? This is very important. Please fix.
  7. The rain is finally here, PNW! And so are the sensor issues...

Yes. It didn't help too much with water, but no problem otherwise.
  8. Large pack - Enough range to complete the White Rim Road?

Would stock 21s be able to run it? I've been to Moab once years ago in a full overland vehicle and did some UTBDR sections. My memory from that is that the 21s should be fine for most of the BDR... does that apply to White Rim too?
  9. Loss of regen: Below 70% SOC

Chiming in as I have not had this experience. I would think that this would be uniform across the trucks, but we've seen so much other things vary that it might be worthwhile doing a poll. At ~4k' on the ODO on my R1T. Did a California Lost Coast trip about a month ago, there are some...
  10. The rain is finally here, PNW! And so are the sensor issues...

PNW-er here. My P2 did really great in last year's rainy season. ACC ("Pilot") never cut out. No false readings. I'm currently doing a DIY ceramic (turtle wax hybrid) on my R1T, hoping that good beading will keep the cameras clear.
  11. No winch (yet?) what is the alternative

My R1T replaced a kitted out XTerra that I ran for ~8 years. It had a winch. I took that thing into some gnarly places, all sorts of climates. Never actually got stuck. Good judgement, 4 low + lockers, and ok driving kept me safe. I rescued about 5 other trucks in that time. Only used the...
  12. With temperatures dropping is anyone else already noticing range losses?

I saw about ~10% hit with my Polestar 2 last winter in the PNW (30-40f). It has a heat pump. I'm also super curious about this, as my R1T is parked outside.
  13. Question... no "Controls" on my Rivian App

Happened to me too. Infotainment reset did nothing. I ended up setting up my home address and then the next day the controls appeared. No app or software versions changed!
  14. Cost to replace cracked R1T roof glass - $2209

Say more about this? How did the leaf blower break the glass? Was it just air pressure? Was there any physical contact?
  15. Minimum gear / accessories required for off-road recovery?

I've un-stuck folks a number of times, and this winter ended up towing folks up our icy hill for most of Jan. Getting ready to sell my XTerra rig now that the Rivian is here, so have been going through my old gear to see what stays. My "keep" set for the Rivian, which I think is also what I'd...
