Hello! I'm in the Ames area. Wondering if anyone is planning a meet-up this summer/fall? Was fortunate to attend the Rivian Stories cross-country event in KC last month, and co-hosted by the KC Rivian Club. Was a great time. Would love to meet more of my fellow Iowa Rivian owners!
Had this happen to me about 5 weeks ago. Had to have mine flat towed to my SC 3 hours away. Turned out to be a shorted out solenoid in one of my air suspensions. Good luck!!
Mine JUST started doing this as well! Tried randomly spraying some dry lube, as I couldn't see anything either. Guess I'll try hosing it out and see if that does the trick!
Well, it's back from service. Turned out to be a solenoid valve that shorted out. Exact diagnosis was: Hydraulic pump valve manifold solenoid internal short.
They had to replace the hydraulic suspension manifold and drain and refill the hydraulic fluid.
Apparently, the solenoid short...
So, speaking in hypotheticals, if someone with the 21" wheels were to get some 20" rims that fit the AS+ 275/60/20s, they hypothetically wouldn't have to get their truck recalibrated (assuming they are fine with a slight difference in speedo). ?
I, too, had a similar experience. Contacted them, they quoted me $800 for the set and $225 for the spare tire and kit. This all seemed fishy. They said they'd ship it all to me for $105. That was an immediate red flag. They also wanted payment via paypal or Venmo, but when I checked the...
Mine would be able to adjust height and maintain after clearing the warnings with a hard reset or letting the vehicle go to sleep. Never heard any leaks or pops of air being released. Would be interested to hear what they find on yours!
Huh, almost exactly what I experienced! Was yours diagnosed as "Improperly routed cowl harness?" I found that in another thread once you mentioned the windshield wiper...
That's very weird! I can only hope it turns out to be that simple! Did you have the same exact warnings? suspension and driver+ sensors? Thanks for the info!
It was a sad day for me to see my R1T being hauled away on a flatbed to the SC in Minneapolis. Over the past week, I had been experiencing many warnings involving the hydraulic suspension, including the ominous "service suspension soon" and ride height can not be changed warnings. Although...
Even here in the middle of the flyover states, I am seeing lots of R1Ts, and even some R1Ss now, but almost no Lightnings (except for dealer lots, where they sit very lonely in rows), and no Lucids. Looking forward to this trend only increasing! However, at this point, the more EVs on the...
Bumping this to see if anyone has tried the 36 Bodega in the frunk. Would love something with additional capacity like the 36 in the frunk. Anyone have any other coolers they've gotten to fit in the frunk?
I'll second this, and can confirm that it is highly frustrating. I've had Driver+ CC fail under multiple conditions, including snow, fog, and driving into the sunset. I can not believe they would not consider some sort of dumb CC for these situations, given that they are fairly common...
