They are offering launch editions to anyone with an Ottawa postal code, yet they keep telling us Montreal guys who had launch editions reserved for 4-5 years there might be none left for us when our store access opens in the next 2 weeks. I just don’t get it…

Maybe, but its a win for sales: gets a bigger tax break for customers=sales and higher specked ones. Theres no downside for dealer, rules are clear they are not liable for used car nor to provide warranty. Only loosing party is the wholesaler offering peanuts.

You set the sale price, and thats a huge difference: Rivian’s offer is 20% under low market. Not even a low ball, not serious. Guide just asked me for trade in, steps not opened in system yet.

Yup, imagine us in Montreal, we never even got the chance... Now a 2K increase (voucher should have been 30%, not 28), if we can get our hands on any scraps left in May when Quebec gets shop access. Leaves a bitter taste. Ill reach out to guide this week, I really hope they will fix this.

The discount voucher at 28% represents close to a 2k increase to try to re-create a loaded R1S launch edition… I hope Rivian fixes this in the next few weeks - feels like a raw deal to loose LEs and get a price increase while late US costumers arE getting LEs with crazy lease rebates.
