  1. ? Official EPA Range and MPGe Numbers for R1T & R1S

As I said before iam not too surprised at all about its efficiency, it is after all a traditional looking SUV. Not disappointed, I wish it was better though. However, just comparing it to 4Runners, Landrovers, Land Cruiser, Hummer...(true off road vehicles) will not be the case for I guess...
  2. ? Official EPA Range and MPGe Numbers for R1T & R1S

Compared to ICE powered SUVs its pretty good, and pretty good for its design, much like a traditional SUV/truck. XC40 and Wranglers are basically ICE powered designs with electric powertrains thrown into them, same with my XC90 PHEV. Iam not familiar with the Etron design elements though...
  3. ? Official EPA Range and MPGe Numbers for R1T & R1S

Definitely every person's electric v gas, driving habits, traffic...etc. will effect their cost of operation. I wish my cost of electric is like yours, i would have made deposit for R1S long ago.
  4. ? Official EPA Range and MPGe Numbers for R1T & R1S

Lol, yes i kind of understand about driving a Toyota for 10 years - I still have one and it's 12 yrs old. The beauty of them is that's it's still running at 12 yrs. with hardly any problem other than scheduled maintenance. Iam/we lucky that we can afford a 70k+ car. I was hoping for little bit...
  5. ? Official EPA Range and MPGe Numbers for R1T & R1S

Good range at 316 miles, it's however, not very efficient. A Highlander hybrid running regular gas can be economically less costly. It beats a regular ICE powered SUV/pickup though.
  6. ? Official EPA Range and MPGe Numbers for R1T & R1S

I would hope so, i was wondering the same as well. However, with ICE systems the difference between a 2WD Tacoma v 4WD has only a 1 mpg difference.
  7. ? Official EPA Range and MPGe Numbers for R1T & R1S

I read you are able to actiavte/deactiavte 4WD motors on demand - so does any one know are these range estimates based on 2WD or 4WD ? Sry, disregard post, looks like someone already posed that question.
  8. What Else Are You Considering?

Assuming 130kwh of usable energy out of the 135kwh, with electric cost of $ .22/kwh, and assuming range 320 miles - that will be $28.6 to charge up full. At 10000 miles a year driving = $893. 75 Some hybrids (Toyota) energy cost are cheaper, using regular gas. Energy cost relative to a ICE non...
  9. What Else Are You Considering?

I have been watching, contemplating R1S for a while. My alternate choices - Volvo XC90 EV replacement due next year. Maybe Polestar 3, if it has a useable 3rd row. My reservation with R1S so far is its "estimated" efficiency. A 135kwh pack with a range of 300+ miles isn't very efficient for a EV.
