The wife, pup and I went out camping this last weekend. After the first night we decided to head out for another location. While driving the forest road towards the highway, my pup was hanging out the window and my wife yelled and grabbed her. I young German Sheppard was running straight for...
Curious....I have the Thule Tepui 3 as well (non-ruggedized). I purchased wider mounting brackets to fit the load bar width, but you said "2.5" riser mounts"? What did you use for these? It would be nice to have a couple of extra inches on the sides to get into the bed when the tent is mounted.
Thanks for the write-up. We've also spent quit a bit of time camping in the Flat Tops over the years and are hoping to re-create a few of these routes in the Rivian....specifically around the scenic by-way and up near Steamboat. It looks like there is charging "opportunities" in a few spots up...
My installer found a couple of issues after I had my truck for a week. Scratches in hood clear coat. Scratch and discoloration of the flat plastic piece over the front bumper. Trim damage on the right front wheel arch. Rivian took care of it all.
More tent porn....getting ready for her maiden voyage.
This is my Thule Tepui Explorer Autana 3. Seems to fit perfectly. Someone posted that they struggled with the mounting hardware being too small. I found these to replace with wider mounting brackets...
Was just wondering if anyone found a good solution for protecting the wood interior pieces? I've been using this cleaner for pretty much every surface of my cars and its done the job.

It says it will do wood as well, but my concern is...
I did just that, but had to turn off proximity unlock for the phones. I wishing the sensitivity was more like my Tesla which requires you to be within a few feet. A minor inconvenience I'm sure it will get better over time.
Picked up my truck at the SC Monday night. Been super busy, so not much time to play yet other than a quick drive up Deer Creek last night where 3 people stopped and chatted about how happy they are to see one in the wild. Very happy it fits in the garage....barely. No issues or complaints...
After a couple of hiccups over the last few days. Truck sent to the wrong SC, bad math skills on the accessory taxes after I'd already completed step7  I'm told it's here in Denver and have a confirmed delivery for Monday the 23rd. No complaints about my guide. She has been...
Same for me. I've had a guide for a couple of weeks now but I noticed VehicleID showed up on Friday, 8 steps opened today. Everything completed except payment. I have a mail out to my guide for details on current location of truck and expected delivery timing.
Thanks and this is by far a greater honor than I deserve! One question...instead of the bust, can I get that in a cash reward? I suddenly find myself in need of a large sum of money.
Yes, very good find!!! I may see if my Thule Tepui rails/bolts will attach to these mounts instead of fabricating wider mounting plates. Should be easier to remove from the crossbars, save some scratching/damage to them and elevate the tent just a bit more to make getting into the bed easier...
Congrats on getting to the "8" @cohall. It's nice to know the elusive LG/FE exists, but I haven't heard anything so it must not be mine :) I guess @KnightNole07 and I will have to take over as hosts for the "Truckless in Denver Pity Party" until our numbers come up.
This might seem like a strange one, but can someone tell me the dimensions (L x W x H) of the arm rest pad on the center console?
I did search and checked the owner manual but couldn't find anything.
Reason: I use an Orvis dog hammock in the back of my Tacoma with a net between the seats but...
