  2. Portland Rivian Space - Location & Plans

Very true. I'm sure it was just a case of them not knowing. I'll see what I can find out tomorrow.
  3. Portland Rivian Space - Location & Plans

Yes - this is a soft opening. They've been doing this for a while. They'll open a week or two prior just to let the staff get their sea legs and training complete before the opening events. I'm going to be driving up tomorrow to take another look. Last time I was there, the electricians...

Keep a watch out for...
  5. Portland Rivian Space - Location & Plans

Not that it's much better, but there will be demo drives available from the auto show next week. I'm not positive yet how they are working it, but it will likely originate outside the venue, so you may be able to walk up without having to enter the show. If I find out for sure, I can let you know.
  6. Portland Rivian Space - Location & Plans

Exterior is complete with window graphics. So, the time draws near. The customer engagement team is in the opening planning stage so won't be long now. My guess of Mid-March is looking promising. There is a little finish work inside to complete, but nothing that would take more than 2-3 weeks.
  7. 12V Battery failure occurred during Update 2024.51.02 and broke my R1S

It's possible you experienced a 12V system failure at the time of the install if the vehicle is non-responsive. Curious if you've been contacted for a 12v preventative replacement service and hadn't done it yet?

    Portland Rivian Club

Welcome to the club ! I've not seen that wrap before, but it will definitely fit right in here in the PNW. Roof rack is interesting ! I can probably help you come up with a bracket to move the rear uprights from in the bed to the bed rail if you wanted once you are up here. Having a fully...

  13. Rivian Part Numbers - A Crowdsourced Parts Catalog

No not public. I am connected to the Rivian Business Partner network and can order parts. Edit - BTW, they do use a new part # PT00777205-D but states that it is backward compatible.

I just looked up the front license plate parts for '22 and for a '25 and they are exactly the same.

I'm really digging the green. Can you imagine if they went with compass yellow signage? UO fans would go nuts.
  16. Portland Rivian Space - Location & Plans

I went a few days ago. When I was there, they were having a construction meeting with Several Rivian folks and the contractors. All the glass is in and interior walls were almost complete. My guess is maybe March sometime after the Miami Space opening.
  17. Joshua Tree Charging Outpost pictures from our visit

I actually think I wasn't supposed to mention that just yet :) . This is all in infancy, so it will take a little time for all good things.
  18. Joshua Tree Charging Outpost pictures from our visit

They are working with a 3rd party off road training crew to host off-road adventures and training. They also plan to have multiple "rental" vehicles there to use for such occasions. Very cool stuff.
  19. Joshua Tree Charging Outpost pictures from our visit

I was lucky enough to be invited by Rivian to attend all the weekend events Fri-Sun. On Saturday, we did some excursions that were planned by local folks. There was a hike (actually 3 hours of climbing over rocks), an art tour (mostly exterior feature based art) and a sound bath ( singing...
