Yes I have noticed a similar issue with my truck. The feature works 90% of the time. Every once in a while I notice it won't engage when I'm exiting the vehicle. If I close the door, put it in drive, then park it will work when I open the door.

Here's a side by side dark 20's vs the wrapped brights. Pretty close, weird angle making the darks look darker a bit.

4 OEM 20 inch AT brights vinyl wrapped gunmetal. Brainexploder kit. Tires/wheels have 10k miles. Rotated once at 5k miles. They were wrapped around 1k miles. Held up good. Most people can't tell they are not the OEM darks. If you want the bright look just peel them off. No center caps or TPMS...

Let me know if that works. My range estimates were wildly off in tow mode. Up to 370 miles at one point. My truck usually maxes out around 310 in conserve mode, 20 AT's. I used my trip efficiency to calculate range.

I tried this last week and did not see it as an option. Would have been helpful, I was left doing range anxiety math the whole way as the range estimates on the truck were useless.

Interestingly mine shows my originally configured/delivered wheels, 22 brights. I swapped to 20 darks and had the sc update my truck last year. Shows 20 darks on the main vehicle screen. That's weird.

Cbr600rr kitted out for the track, around 400 lbs. I've always been sketched out by the hitch mounted moto carriers. It would fit tho and I agree this would probably be the most efficient set up.

I agree, I haven't noticed any range hit with mine mounted over the bed as well. I'll report the efficiency towing the trailer after the trip.

I was planning on towing a small u haul trailer with my bike on it and keeping the RTT mounted over the bed. But now I'm worried about the range loss towing the trailer. I wonder which set up...
