@R1TYarbrough so I'm going through the trade in process now for my model y and I'm curious how much Rivian offered you, if you wanted to even ballpark it. Mine is a 2020 with 21k miles on it, FSD. Carvana is giving me $65k, but curious if Rivian will come close to that.

Just got my VIN: 83xx. Guide said it was just finished production and will be transported shortly.

@SoCalTravels I actually text mine a few times a week and she’s always responsive within an hour roughly, if not sooner. I’ve emailed her some things as well and don’t get a response, but I only do that if I need it further documented.

If you look closely, there is never the EXACT same configuration in the shop listed twice. It's always slightly different. My belief is that there could be multiples of some of these. So that would make sense that there aren't just a handful of trucks available in the shop, but there may be a...

@bigsteve literally nobody understands the process. Originally, it’s believed they were trucks that were ordered but the owners rejected or couldn’t finance so they sat where they were delivered. Now, it’s just a guessing game.

@sevengroove but if they keep limiting access dramatically to let's say 100 people per day, now that 100 people isn't turning over automatically daily/weekly. Now in theory, if people can just stay and wait, maybe half of those people will stay so now 50 new people may get access to the shop...

@EA287 I have mixed emotions about the weekly limit being removed. I understand why it was done (if it really was), but I don’t see how they’ll accommodate adding additional people now to the shop if people continuously have access to it and just camp out waiting for their configurations to pop...

@SoCol up till the last couple of days, it was only trucks with 21” wheels basically but they just did a pretty large inventory dump that had a fair amount of 22” and a few 20” wheels and several color options. I’m assuming it’s quarter end and they’re pushing anything they have.

@GlennWo I don’t think they update it on the weekends or if they do it’s very minimal.

Guide told me yesterday production will be shutdown the week of July 4th. Typical of all auto manufactures. They shutdown for a week during the summer. Guide said they’ll still continue deliveries and offices will still be working. Just an FYI if people start seeing a slow down in production briefly

SO MANY OPTIONS...ugh. I'm jealous. I'd snatch one of those midnights with the 22's in a heartbeat.

@John G. agreed on all points. I've heard of people getting emails after their shop access has expired, inviting them back to the shop shortly after or telling them they'll get access again. It'll be interesting see. I appreciate you posting the pics you have :)

@John G. Yea. I’m actually shocked at how few people have chosen midnight. It’s my go to which is good I suppose. So are you going to just wait till ocean coast then? Or do you have any compromise?

@John G. I believe that in theory there are more than just these 5 individual trucks, but all the available ones fall within these builds. So there could be multiple midnight in that one build available right now. Hence why they don’t show location or VIN of them. That’s my philosophy. I can’t...

@frostbit3 awe yes. That’s what I kind of expected. I think they’re just pumping out adventure trimswith 21s at this point to get people in trucks.
