Being able to lock it is a non-starter for me. Needs to have that ability to be functional for my purposes. I'm really surprised no business has mass produced this yet.
For those who can be objective, the new Model 3 is a remarkably better vehicle than the previous version. I had a 2018 Model 3 that my wife wouldn't ride in because it was so rough that it made her car sick. I currently have an R1T that she loves riding in. Yesterday, I went and test drove...
I was also one who placed an order on March 18. Just received the notification today that it shipped. Very excited about having so many additional charging options. Even though it costs more, I intend to only use Rivian and Tesla chargers just for the convenience factor.
Every new update I look for media options like the addition of YouTube and Netflix but the disappointment continues. Does anyone know what happened with this? They teased it well over a year ago and said it was coming, even including a video showing it on the center screen. Since then it's...
I've been trying four different settings recommended by superfluid and others in these two threads. So far, the settings shift4 posted above with 3D surround turned off are the best by far for my truck and sound amazing. I wonder if the sound systems in our vehicles don't have tight enough...
My lifetime average on OEM 20s is 1.8. I mostly drive in AP like a grandpa; 60 percent city driving versus highway. I can't imagine how people are getting 2.0 and over on OEM 20s.
I just watched a couple videos on YouTube. You start by removing four bolts that hold the panel on. Once those are removed, the panels are just held on by clips that pop free with a little outward pressure. I used a small wedge/trim tool on the bottom side of the panel to pop all the clips...
I have an R1T with Meridian and had the vibration/rattles in the doors and the speakers mounted in the doors as superfluid mentioned in his original post. I fixed every last one of them by pulling off my door panels. Inside the door there are probably 30 to 40 screws that mate the internals of...
Can confirm A2Z is an awesome company to deal with. I messed up something up on my order, which I placed Monday. Sent an email to A2Z this afternoon, after their business hours, and they answered almost immediately and took care of my concern.
Of note to those thinking about ordering the...
I just ordered the A2Z Typhoon. For me it's cheap insurance against possibly having to wait months to receive the Rivian adapter. If Rivian surprises me and delivers early, I can return the A2Z. I also like the idea of keeping the A2Z as a back up.
Maybe the best route for Rivian considering capacity at Normal is 150K vehicles and demand for R1 seems to be about 50K, is to convert some of that excess capacity for R2. I have no idea how factories are retooled, but I have to imagine it would allow Rivian to start producing R2 vehicles a lot...
I've had two R1Ts (both quads) and both have the left leaning steering wheel when driving down straight roads. These are roads I've driven down with several other vehicles and their steering wheels are always straight and centered, so I don't know what's going on with the Rivians. I've taken...
Bhlackey, this is great and thanks so much for doing it. Was wondering if you might be able to post a picture of the settings? That makes ensuring I have the same settings as you much easier.
