I've already had the majority of my front suspension replaced once, and the clunks and bumps seemed to have gone away temporarily but seem to have returned. Maybe I put in another ticket and request the service folks focus on the driveshaft and wheel bearings as well
Are you asking which source is more reliable; the company making the vehicle's press kit photos, or an LLM that generated a photo of a vehicle with a typo in the name?
Have the service folks inspect your 12V battery. Dying 12V batteries are known to cause a ton of phantom drain. 8% a day is the most I've heard of, even with gear guard on nonstop.
Have you considered that there's something wrong with your windshield, like a chip or crack or the sensor itself is misaligned? I don't think the rest of us are experiencing this issue.
It could be, although the creaking is relatively new. It only lasts a few seconds so it's definitely possible. Got a handy guide on how best to access them and lube them?
Wondering if anyone else has noticed this. I haven't driven my vehicle in a while (over a week) and it's driveway parked. I noticed a day or two ago that each time I leave the house and walk past the vehicle, it makes a quiet whirring noise near the front left wheel well. The doors don't unlock...
My car hasn't moved in over a week. Whatever it's doing to burn all that energy is entirely unnecessary and useless. The vehicle should be smart enough to know when the vehicle hasn't been driven and thus has no Driver+ data to upload, if that's even the root cause.
I'm parked about 10 feet below my router, I'd be surprised if there's a better possible config for a WiFi connection other than duct taping an access point to the windshield.
Either way, 2 kWh of _anything_ is a ridiculous amount of power consumption when the vehicle is just sitting still
I put it on the 2A battery tender on Sunday, and Monday and Tuesday didn't seem to change much; still had multiple wake events for a couple hours each day. Today is the first day I haven't seen a wake event *knocks on wood*.
I'll settle for one wake event every couple days if that's where my...
Well, I was a bit disappointed when the first couple days went by and I was still burning around 1.6-1.9kWh a day after putting it on the 2A battery maintainer, but maybe today is the first day the battery got fully topped off without interruption? Today's graph shows an almost non-stop state of...
Rivian's got a corporate office in Palo Alto, which in itself is a relatively small and extremely affluent jurisdiction. They're not doing hundred mile high speed chases, and I'm sure Rivian is making a bit of a sweetheart deal here to see their vehicles patrolling their local streets.
I've finally caved and put my R1S on a NOCO 2A battery tender through the OBD2 port. I can't go another day with a ridiculous 2.4 kWh of phantom battery drain.
Is no one else's app showing the trunk cannot be opened for some reason? Hoping this is just a glitch since the app and vehicle versions don't match and they're clearly hiding the charge port door open button until then.
