  1. Cybertruck Latest "Beta" Prototype gets up close look inside and out at Tesla Investor Day

Dang, you finished before I could call you a FANBOI! I do agree with your thoughts though, although I do not have the time nor inclination to research it and post it either. Tesla DU's appear to be very efficient, as well they should be for the amount of time they've been working on them...
  2. PPF question - spend $7k to put a clear PPF on $80k vehicle?

I see the ceramic coating comment quite a lot on forums where the implication is that ceramic has some sort of protective properties other than what it does actually have; chemical, sap, bird droppings, makes washing easier...these types of things. But just to be clear, ceramic does not offer...
  3. Tested 35" tires on the R1T - for offroading / overlanding

R1's really wear matte finish so well! And then the tires look great too. Nice truck!
  4. Cybertruck Latest "Beta" Prototype gets up close look inside and out at Tesla Investor Day

Oh Endless is someone @jebinc and I cyber-know from the Tesla forum. Pretty big Tesla/Elon fanboy, you’d probably really like him. ?
  5. Cybertruck Latest "Beta" Prototype gets up close look inside and out at Tesla Investor Day

Yeah and the Tesla order page will reflect the “savings” rather than the actual price of the vehicle.
  6. Cybertruck Latest "Beta" Prototype gets up close look inside and out at Tesla Investor Day

Second warning…do not make me go get him. ? Actually I’m not sure he could survive in here with all the Elon hate.
  7. PPF question - spend $7k to put a clear PPF on $80k vehicle?

Just got an update/sneak peak of my truck at the PPF installer. Supposed to be done by Sunday. I’m pretty excited, I think the gloss/matte contrast will look very good.
  8. Who’s Buyin’?

Interesting moral dilemma. Is it worth questionable funds for a greater good? Money from a country that has poor human rights to help offset the impact of ICE? I like things that tie my brain in knots. ?
  9. First Tesla Supercharger with "Magic Dock" CCS adapter successfully charged a R1T. This is fantastic!

And that's why I'm saying optionally offer both. CCS as standard equipment, optional NACS port. I can say with 100% confidence that is Rivian offered me a NACS port for a $500 option, I'd buy it. Tesla loses any possibility for advantage due to a captive charging port with that setup. The...
  10. First Tesla Supercharger with "Magic Dock" CCS adapter successfully charged a R1T. This is fantastic!

No, Aptera won't do much, even if they do make it. What would stop Tesla from jacking up the prices is the market now? I don't expect them to hold a charging monopoly. What stops them from doing it now on the SuC they just opened to other brands? Particularly if a vehicle offered two...
  11. Cybertruck Latest "Beta" Prototype gets up close look inside and out at Tesla Investor Day

Think of the size of the fingerprint-free screen (meaning entire stainless body) protectors the truck will need! The Abstract Ocean's of the world are going to kill it...but they better figure out how to ship CT panel sized material!
  12. First Tesla Supercharger with "Magic Dock" CCS adapter successfully charged a R1T. This is fantastic!

The advantages would lie in accessibility, reliability, and usability, greatly helping their customer base. Since Tesla is creating the Magicdocks now, the completion is already utilizing (or at least going to be) the SuC network. Nobody is even close when it comes to rolling out reliable...
  13. First Tesla Supercharger with "Magic Dock" CCS adapter successfully charged a R1T. This is fantastic!

Other manufacturers could optionally offer the NACS plug in addition to CCS. I know I'd pay to have both.
  14. First Tesla Supercharger with "Magic Dock" CCS adapter successfully charged a R1T. This is fantastic!

I doubt Rivian would make the switch, but I agree it would be nice. Or perhaps offer both on vehicles. Beyond the availability of Tesla charging, the functionality of NACS is far superior to CCS. A CCS plus is a pain in the butt to line up and insert into e vehicle in comparison to NACS...
  15. App done gone bad

Yep, and it now has 500 miles of range.
  16. App done gone bad

It’s the only thing that makes sense.
  17. App done gone bad

Yep, silver here too. @jebinc is clearly behind this.
