Trying to remember if my Defender or Velar did. I swear neither required a double-pull, and prior to that I'd been motorcycle-only for quite some time.
Off topic, but - The double-handle pull thing really catches everyone in my truck. I am used to it now but literally everyone I've ever had in it pulls once then looks at the door weird like they did something wrong.
I think I like it requiring a double-pull, prevents accidental opening. I...
Admittedly never locked someone in my truck without the key present. There must be some way to do it, I doubt safety standards would allow you to be locked inside given they force manual releases to be present in the frunk/bed/trunk of vehicles.
@rjscaringe on Twitter, if you yell loud enough some random bottom-feeding EV publication will pick it up, blow it out of proportion, and mass broadcast it. Then maybe you'll have enough attention Rivian is willing to go above and beyond :D
Not Gen Z. Nav works fine. Better soon once the search is powered by Google. Worst case I can search on my phone and send to the vehicle.
Go enjoy your Tesla, Boomer.
While I don't disagree with some of the underlying truth to what you say (I'm an elder millenial), at the same time I think this is a really toxic perspective on mental health. Strong work ethic and a desire for strong mental health are not mutually exclusive.
For a long time, here and in other...

Also praying for your wallet when you do get a ding (harder to do != impossible to do). Welcome to full panel replacement!
+1 interested in your findings. Those are a great looking tire on the truck. I try not to fall too hard for aesthetics when making overlanding decisions, but I've not seen many that fit better and have that nice a look, thus far.
We're all entitled to make the decisions we make for the reasons we make them.
J.D. Power surveys indicate satisfaction is higher for R1T owners than any Tesla model. Personally, I trust that data point much more than a single internet creator who had issues. I've had 0 issues requiring service...
CCS would have been nice, but hopefully at least some of these are unlocked for other vehicles. Would be nice to have more charging options for trips from Seattle to Portland :)
I can only provide anecdotal butt-dyno testing, but I'm a "always charged to 70%" person, and the few times I charge to 100% I feel like it accelerates significantly harder. Not sure what %age that 'significant' is, but long before this thread I'd mentioned that to my partner a few times.
So...
Ugh, I foolishly kicked the update off knowing it'd finish probably only 15 minutes before I have to head to the city for a tattoo appointment, and it threw some sort of error in the app and looks like it might be stuck on 'preparing update' now. Really hoping it continues or I'm going to have...
Yea, I've heard nothing about a recall to fix this issue and my truck was definitely produced before Nov 22. Something to add to my list of random little stuff to eventually get the SC to fix once they open more SCs in this area :)
I've had good luck using Driver+ in stop and go on both 5 and 405.
I only ever feel the foot fatigue when I'm on an extended long flat section where I am not at all modulating the pedal so my foot sits in the same position for too long. Other than that I don't have any issues with foot/ankle...
Given the thermal throttling issues and the curve itself, it's basically useless to use a 350kw charger on a Rivian, imo. You'll get basically the same charging speed over a long session on the 150kw, until the thermal management system improves a bit more. This update helped, I think, but...
~7k miles
1.86mi/kWh
20" Factory Pirelli ATs at recommended PSI (48iirc?)
R1T
Seattle area, most of those miles in temps in the 40s or 50s
Lots of short trips, only 1 multi-state trip, lots of offroading (last one is probably why mine is so low).
