Yea. Hopefully they are pretty good. Figured I would put a reservation down since it's only $100. Hopefully they don't do what ford did and talk about the low price, but once you add the extended battery it goes from $52k to $72k
Everyone talks about rivians communication, but after going through getting a bronco with horrendous communication, missed deadlines, and just a complete shit show with a reservation system I have no hope that any car company can get it right. If a company that has been around for over a 100 yr...
we can all sit here and complain about max packs being pushed back, but the fact of the matter is that they can push out more regular pack vehicles and considering they are a start up releasing a totally new product for the first time they will go for what makes them the most money. Is anyone on...
Use the heated seats to keep you warm and lay off power sucking vents to keep you warm. They always say that heated seats are far more efficient then using the heater in the car
I will probably take the hit and get the regular pack since I never keep cars that long and will get something new I like as longer packs become standard. This is not my forever truck and If I get one and end up loving it I can always trade it in for a new rivian with a longer pack 3-5 years...
The whole reservation system is messed up and it's not just with rivian. The reservation system is here for good as more and more car companies adopt it. Only bright side with rivian is that they won't tack on $10k or more like dealerships are doing ripping off their customers
Of course there will be hiccups. I am not an early reservation holder, but for rivian to screw over those that have been waiting years is kinda messed up
I keep going back and forth and will probably just drop down to the large pack. I am not towing and the road trips I take are a few hundred miles. Plus as higher range vehicles come out I will probably upgrade down the road. I do however have the explorer package so if that alone is going to...
