Total guess, but I think lane change assist is a marketing term for two features. First, if you signal with driver+ on, you can then change lanes and it maintains the speed with adaptive cruise, you then can re-enage driver. This enables you to easily change lanes without touching the pedal...
Good use for a poll. My guess is that the majority are using the built-in nav most of the time.
I always use it. Minimal problems but I’m in north county San Diego where they tested these things for the last couple of years and employees live.
The way you improve mapping is to look at where...
The gain is simple: data. Navigation data to improve maps / self driving and to provide ancillary services like insurance. App usage, which stores and restaurants you go to, etc etc. it’s the same reasons why google and apple want that data.
I couldn’t agree more, but it’s a two-way street. Every day lately this forum is filled with comparisons that leave the R1T strengths and only focus on the lightnings. We shouldn’t compare speed because Rivian is faster. We shouldn’t compare manuverbaility and handling because Rivian is...

What about the screen, audio system and interior quality?
“trick suspension” - is that a typo?
This is going to save me a hassle. Winner for most helpful post of the day.

I'm really surprised that the interior went to the F150, but it appears to be more about function than quality and appearance. My forest edge interior is the nicest interior I've ever seen, and I don't typically double-fist while driving so don't value cupholders much.
Government mandated creation of an EV charging station subsidiary as a fine for emissions violations. Brilliant.
EA is owned by Volkwagen and it's creation was forced by the government as punishment for them cheating emissions standards. Why in the world would anyone think this setup is going...
