I took my R1T to Vex Offroad in Fremont to help me with a difficult rock slider removal a couple weeks ago. They were professional, capable, and super accommodating. Wouldn't hesitate to go with them again for work.

^ harsh. @OP, did you check to see if your breaker was tripped? That's probably why it stopped charging, your breaker protecting you as it should. What happened when you set the charging to lower current?

Mine have been excellent. Still good as new after 5 months! Mine was one of the first batch and I had to do some modifications to make it fit, but by now they should be great. Haven't heard of anyone needing to do that lately.

Road noise reduction would be another reason. There had been a couple of posts in the past from folks who got a service loaner with a shield that they didn't have, or vice versa, and remarked on the difference on the highway.

You bet I unplugged mine! I had my truck bricked a year ago from the 12V batteries draining during update ><.
