Nope. Literally nothing it was very strange. Obviously backing up at like 2 mph but no alarms, nothing visual on the 360 camera or anything. My wife thought someone actually threw something at the truck because she was staring at the cameras and also saw that there was nothing near the truck...
For someone not privy… elaborate on hot glue trick lol… had a similar issue come up myself.
*psa there are some fairly substantial blind spots in our 360 cameras…* backed right into the brush guard on this truck parked behind me (sticking outta his spot by like 3.5 feet) and never once showed...
I have had my last 4 vehicles ceramic coated and can tell you with all the confidence in the world, the installer has a much bigger effect than the product. What I mean is, I’ve had the same guy put ceramic pro on my viper and then Kenzo on my rivian and the rivian seems to be noticeably better...
I am by now means a tire engineer so if one happens to be present, please correct me. I think the biggest issue that limits tires currently is the load rating. These trucks are significantly heavier than most even realize and I believe required nearly a 9k load rating due to the weight that can...
I’m surprised it’s not here already but here’s a photo of my dark 22” wheels. The look in person absolutely ended the conversation for me. They just look SOO much better imo than the other options and it wasn’t even close..
My original thought was the range reduction would bother me a lot over...
So I just got my truck back from service last week and have noticed some new suspension creaks/groans etc. even more noticeable noises going over speed bumps and such I never had before.
But also, I’m noticing a strange kinda popping/rubbing/vibrating noise that seems to come from behind/below...
So I just got my truck back last week with alignment concerns that they claimed to fix and now I’m noticing my truck is making louder creaks/groans and such sort of like your describing… I wonder if that’s due to the “over torque” mentioned in this post… this is pretty concerning. Parts...
I read in another thread that deleting other Bluetooth and repairing helped so yesterday I tried that. Sadly, there are 4 “rivian sensors” that pair up pretty quick but the “rivian key” one seems to struggle to connect. Almost like the truck and phone just don’t communicate well/quickly.
God yes, this!!! It’s so damn annoying. I just stand there next to the truck for 45 seconds hitting unlock buttons on the key fob and phone and eventually it opens but damn it would be nice if it just unlocked as I walk up to it like it does every morning when I leave the house.
I only seem to...
I think this is kinda the point being made. Nobody expects them to ask permission but if they are going to make a change without offering a choice, they should offer to refund. To my knowledge that offer was never extended. I think everybody getting way to caught up in the significance of the...
Rims……. Sigh. From this “city slicker” they are wheels, lol and I like my 22 inch sport dark wheels. I didn’t want the 40ish+ mile decrease that was advertised by going with the 20 inch all terrains for my everyday commute and frankly thought the standard wheels looked like a flower with the air...
Let’s agree to disagree. I never bought a gallon of milk to look at. Nor do I intend to ever keep that gallon around for a few years.
These floor mats on the other hand, will be looked at literally everytime I get in the truck for as long as I own it. I was shown one thing, liked what I saw...
I agree. Again, these aren’t 20k Honda trucks… it’s not like Astonius is saying he wants something special… just wants what he agreed to buy. It’s no different than if you agree to buy a gallon of milk but at the checkout line they said, hey we decided to give ya a gallon of chocolate milk...
Same, and sadly I have to hit unlock on the fob 5-6 times sometimes before even it works. If I open the app on my phone it seems like it will buffer while “waking up” so I wonder if that has something to do with it. Seems odd. As others have mentioned, I’ve had 4-5 other vehicles with proximity...
I’d do it. Houston highways are brutal for rock chips. Just inspect your truck thoroughly first. That way you don’t have to pay to do it twice if you find similar quality issues like I did in the paint or body work.
I’m sending mine back to William in a few weeks once my good is repaired to get...
This has popped up for me a couple times but typically goes away before I can grab my phone to snap a photo and then everything seems to work fine. I also got an “automatic headlights unavailable” message a startup similar to the timing of the driver + message but they seem to clear up.
I appreciate the feedback yall. I guess I’m lucky that I’m actually in houston anyways which seems to be where their quality/go-to paint repair shop is located so that is a bit of a relief.
Still salty that I have to pay for PPF and ceramic a second time around for something I didn’t do wrong...
Really need to see video of the creases. Hard to get them in a picture but pretty easy to see in a video. Unfortunately even a short 10 second video says it’s too large for the server.
