The fan will keep running if the car is unlocked. Lock it and you'll hear the climate instantly turn off. There are some fans that sometimes kick on when charging, but they are very quiet.

One thing you may want to look into is that the phone as key is very sensitive. If the truck is unlocked it turns on climate control and a bunch of fans kick into gear. If your truck is in a garage attached to your home you may be waking it up just by walking around.
