Free, pickup only in Leavenworth, WA. Had to upgrade to a burlier set to manage all the snow, mud, and dust that we get here. Hope these can go to a good home.
Mine also does this, also extremely loud. Talked to SC about it when I was there and they said nothing to worry about. The rep said that occasionally using the brakes a bit more (vs. just regen braking) might help this a bit.
Just noticed this yesterday as well. I really don't think this was the same behavior as last year because I feel like I would have clearly recalled having to turn the vents on every single time... @kapsjt ditto on the weird fan behavior too. I had to turn off auto and manually turn the fans down...
I would say this happens to me about 80% of the time, it's absolutely infuriating. I just get in the car and both restore and remember buttons are grayed out. I don't have a second driver, but maybe I'll try making one to see if toggling between them might help.
I assumed this was a software...
OP, glad you got it solved. Not to highjack the thread, but I was in Victoria this spring, and I could charge everywhere just fine except for Tesla. I have an account and use the Tesla chargers regularly in the US, but I couldn't get any stations to work. Anyone have any ideas? It's been a while...
My RTT can be mounted either way, but I opted for ladder on the passenger side. My reasoning was that I store a lot more "stuff" on that side than I do the driver's side, so I wanted quick access to stuff (pantry, water, gear, etc.) stored in/around the passenger seat. Definitely was the right...
I've got a Thule Approach M that fits perfectly. Setup and takedown time are about ~2 mins for each, so super fast. I got it through a crazy deal at work ($800) so I didn't even do much research beyond ensuring it would fit. I've never had a different RTT but I don't have any complaints with...
I posted this in some Reddit threads too, but in 2+ years of ownership, I can't recall ever having a single issue with the prior Mapbox nav system. Haven't had a chance to try out the Gmaps integration yet as I'm traveling, but curious to see what it's like.
It seems like a cool happy medium...
Definitely the cleanest solve, and top notch gear. Unfortunately $3800 is about 4x more than I'm willing to spend on a setup like this. Maybe if I ever get around to it I'll try my own DIY solution... wish I could afford this one though, such a perfect combination!
In a similar boat as you, so watching this thread closely! Just starting to build out my setup as well.
I'm not going quite as far as an actual shower, but I got the Yakima RoadShower(7gallon) and I've only used it once but it worked just fine. I'm mostly looking for rinsing off bikes and...
I bought a LE used 1.5 years ago, and I've been to the SC 6-7 times, 4 will be in the past 2 months alone. I live ~2.5 hours away from the SC, and every trip is a pain that requires a full day of driving (or two, if I have to leave the vehicle and come back) and/or me taking time off of work...
Not to beat a dead horse, but yeah, 0 interest in anything chrome or chrome-adjacent. Looks cheap and tacky IMO and wish I didn't have any on my Rivian. Keep it simple, clean, and lose the complicated patterns. +1 to Drivian, durability would be the most important factor for me.
Interesting, thanks for sharing. I remember seeing one thread where someone with a G1 Quad was actually getting consistently faster times in All Purpose than in Sport. Wish I could remember where I saw that.
Bummer to hear about all the issues. Echoing others though in that I don't see any of those issues. My wipers go once on startup... very rarely. I can't really put a number to it but it's rare enough that I don't think about it. I've had one bootloop while driving in 26k miles. The locking one...
To each their own, no disrespect, etc. etc. but that is by far the ugliest Rivian I have ever seen ? Beautiful canoe though!
Agreed with the other comments – was hoping for a darker/richer tan than what we're seeing here.
The last time I saw this thread come up, somebody (who seemed well informed) said it wasn't replacing the camera hardware that was the issue, it was the computer not being powerful enough in the Gen 1s to process the data throughput. I don't have a source, nor do I know the validity of that...
Wow I knew something was different but I couldn't quite put my finger on what. This is the first I've hard of this but I think that's been the issue for me, thanks for the explanation!
Gen 1 '22 R1T. Can't say I've ever even had to think about the HVAC. It's always worked perfectly for me, hot and cold. I'll even begrudgingly admit that before I actually had the truck, I would go on endless rants about not having physical buttons for the vents, but I change them so...
